Boat to magic kingdom
Campingdad replied to Kdeg's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Stroller no problem for the boat. I have seen plenty of them this week's from side by sides, to long doubles. Bus will be your only issue. The ride is pleased and very smooth. I wouldn't venture to MK in your car. Its a bunch of hassle for maybe 1.5 Miles of travel. I'm sorry your going in the August heat. But your still going to love the fort. -

I made it, I Fount it, we're here!!!!

Still no issue with road noise. We have sitting and eating outside. My 7 and 4 year old have no problem sleeping in their bunk house. As for the garden hose, I'd steer away. It only takes 1 dark night, or one friendly hand to have you drinking out of that slow flowing hose. The big Y for dump hose doesnt cost much at all. I now have all the hose I'll ever need I hope. Ended up with a 15' section. but if i cannot get it done with 40' of sewer hose, i need to move the camper. -

I haven't heard much road noise to be truthful. Did see an ambulance in the loop today. Hopefully whomever it was wasn't hurt to badly. -

I've come up 5 foot short to make my Y. So I'm going to find a short section and move the Y to the dump station. I always buy pretty assembled. Keeps my delicate hands(hahahaha) free of poo. Thank you for the reminder however. It's nice to know those of us willing to help still exist. -

Difference in size between proffered and premium?
-
Awesome! is it walk about or will I need to catch the bus around from the fort?
-
Okay I'm not a muscle head or gym rat. However I am trying to get back into shape(other then round). I have been working out often to build strength while losing weight. Is there any facilities at the fort? Or is there somewhere else we can access? Ill be there in a little over 2 weeks from now. just tying up loose ends now.

ependydad, look up metalcraft fire in Maryland if your going to put a self operating system in with your generator. They are built and designed for high-end road and water vehicles. Worth every penny because of their testing. Also I would recommend buying anything less than a 5lb extinguisher. The smaller ones usually don't have enough emmmph

Holy schnieke(in my best Chris Farley voice), I have a hand full with 2. God bless, have them call and ask/submit for a better site. -

I think you and I are on the same page. But what I'm lost with is what trailer that would be that long when hooked up doesn't have a potty. That's where I'm confused. -

I'm confused as to why you coach doesn't have a rest room if it is 60 foot long, or even half of that. -
This is our first trip to the fort. We will be traveling with one happy mutt. Not sure if its our laid back old dude, or youngest furry critter. I booked a premier site? Well the most expensive one because of size and why not, we will be there 7 nights. Can anyone point us to a loop we are bike and walking friendly distance doesn't matter. we are there to camp and unwind not have the hustle and bustle of rushing around. Can ya give a family some help?

Reservation annoyances
Campingdad replied to Campingdad's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Starting to get close. My Myrtle Beach 3 day stay is booked and paid in full. Disney is paid in full, along with the add on of Mickey's Backyard BBQ tickets. Only thing left is fuel, spending, and food money for 2 weeks worth of road tripping. Woo hoo 88 days -
wrong post sorry*

Do you use a filter on your water intake? I will have bottled water just because you mentioned it, but I am still curious
