WOW according to the link to the toll rates you can charged even more with a roof top carrier, that's the first I have heard that one, bad enough we usually are always charged the rate for a tractor trailer but here they have every angle covered to make money!!!!!!
-
We just drove the same bridge a couple of weeks ago and yes you should receive a bill in the mail, we had EZ Pass and will have to see if they deducted for it yet, I think our charge was going to be close to if not more, around $10

Some really neat units there, thanks for sharing.

Visited Red Rocks just after a day of skiing at A-Basin last February and have added it to our list of things to see and do next time we camp in Co.

This might rate right up there with Jason's trip years ago, I am sure he will chime in with his details for the two of you to compare. Glad to hear that everything eventually ended up well and also nice to see someone at Disney stepped up to make things right. Looking forward now to reading about all the fun you had.

John thanks for posting, this is on our list to visit this summer after our stay in Branson.

That said, we're 'closing' on 2018 Dynamax DX3 so we can vacation MORE at the world and also enjoy the USA during our retirement years.
JP, you might want to check out the Forest River Owners Forum, they have a great Dynamax group there and even a factory person involved that is really a great help to their owners.

Also join FROG, lot's of great rallies held all over the place

Grumpy was correct, that was how the techs replaced our awning at a FROG Rally once in Goshen In. the thing that I hated the most was they made it look so easy, all done in less then a hour.

Haha...i bet tire scrub is bad with that.
Maybe they make the second axle (tag ) a steerable one, I have seen some motorhomes with this.

I'll say this. Adaptive cruise on the superduty is a game changer. It is so relaxing. It will hold speed on any ascent or descent...even if it has to stand on the brakes or use the exhaust brake. I can't wait to tow with it.
You are going to have a hard time keeping that BIG GRIN off your face, others will be looking at you trying to figure out what is going on!!!!!!

My problem is....I had a bunch of pre-schoolers!
Yes but you got to be right in the mix of everything, I could just picture you ending up being the biggest kid of them all

Ok, I remember it. And not fondly. But then again, I'm an old grouch who's idea of fun isn't sitting on the floor with a bunch of pre-schoolers.
That's why we sat back against the wall, they had benches back there

We actually took the time to see this show even if our kids are grown and were not with us at the time. We did feel kind of out of place but just took a seat out against the wall. We were surprised it turned out to be a cute show and we thought it was well done, also being in the a/c did not hurt much either.

Very nice find, congrats!!!!!!!! That would have been my choice in a brand new truck but just did not like the price tag, got lucky and found our Kenworth and Smart car as a package all ready to tow a 5th wheel. That truck will serve you well and you will love the power for climbing.

Hey Rennie, how long ago did you buy in? I assume since you were able to trade out to RCI you bought from Disney or long enough ago that still got that perk with resale.
I'm just curious because it seems that the longer ago you bought in the better deal it is. We met people on a cruise once that bought when it first started and they loved it, but they paid a fraction of what it would cost now. BUT I guess it will keep going up every year, so you could buy in now and in 20 years it will be a great deal. How are they going to handle the life of contracts though, a lot expire in 2042.
WBI
We bought back in 2004 and I believe paid somewhere around $90 a point back then, plus were offered builder points that we couldn't use in time so we rented them out to a friend and recouped a little bit of money. We have also rented the points out around 3 times thru a broker and were very happy with what we received and how everything was handled. Yes it seems the older the contracts the better the perks and also the resales seemed to be offered much less.
-
I will add my 2 cents now, we have enough points on a average for a 2 bedroom once a year, do we go every year....no. Sometimes we go at high times so the banked points work there. What I liked about the DVC is options, size of unit, length of stay and not the same week every year. I have traded out once to RCI to stay at a Wyndham resort to ski with my sons, extra cost zero, value, priceless spending time with my boys!!!!!!! After paying off the purchase the yearly cost does seem like a PIA but it works for us and as always that is the most important factor we figure in, will it work for everyone, probably not but as I like to say that is why we have both kinds of ice cream, vanilla & chocolate.
-
Heck I have seen more people forget where they park their car then looking for strollers, and they have had sections in the parking lots named from the start!!!!

Looks nice, hope they still have this when we visit in Setember

Great trip report, now we might need to start planning a cruise!!!!!!
