That's part of the problem. Any CM encouraging freeloading should be reprimanded and if it happens again fired. I have no issue if they wish to use the Fort in their off hours with their family and friends but helping to organize large groups to take over the resort from paying guests is going too far.

Wow, those are some wild predictions.  I don't think there's any way that they will be able to start on the River Country DVC as soon as they're done at Wilderness Lodge- they would need to move the horse barn and the dining pavilion first, and those permits have expired.  It is possible that the River Country DVC will be resurrected, but I don't see that happening in 2016.

And moving the TTC?  That is real crazy talk.  The idea makes sense on many levels, but the cost would be astronomical, and I don't think the demand for more deluxe resort rooms is there.

I saw a comment on WDWMAGIC suggesting that Jim Hill is pumping out crazy stuff to get people distracted from his recent problems.  I don't know what that refers to.  Was Jim Hill in trouble for something?

It would be nice if a train was incorporated along the south side of Bay Lake to transport guest to the TTC or perhapase to MK.

If you were trying to do this on a day other than a major holiday like Easter, your odds of being let in early would be a lot better.
As you know, during busy times,  they do have a list of guests with reservations, and they check it.  I wouldn't expect them to let anyone in a "few hours" before a reservation.  The parking restrictions are in place because there isn't enough room to accommodate any guests other than those staying at the Fort or with dining reservations.  It would defeat the purpose of the restrictions if they let people in hours ahead of their reservation.
Also, there are many who take a dim view of outsiders coming in to the Fort "to take part in some of the festivities."  Locals invading the Fort on holidays is a real problem, and ruins the experience for guests who have paid good money to stay there.
I think it would be reasonable for you to arrive an hour before your reservation.  The pony rides go on until 5 pm, so there would be time to get a ride in before your 5:10 pm reservation, but I wouldn't count on being let in hours ahead of time on a day like Easter.

If your APs are still good, you could get there earlier, but it'll take some planning.
Easiest would probably be parking at the MK.  Then take the Resort Monorail and go to the Contemporary and catch the Fort boat.
Or take the monorail to the MK and take the Fort boat from there.
Like TCD said, they will stop you from driving in on Holidays (sometimes).
Just don't bring your bathing suits!  You don't want to be "THOSE PEOPLE" we all complain about.
