I doubt that the MagicBands are going to be used at the Fort during your stay.

They're still in the testing phase and will not be going property-wide for a while.

Personally, I think they're kinda cute. It'd be nice not to mess with a card, but I know I'm in a very small minority.

Relatively speaking, they weren't that bad last year, in fact they haven't been that bad for a few years, so maybe a bad year like we've had in the past is coming.

How bad you ask? I remember looking at the entrance doors while at the WL and they were black from all the love bugs covering it.

Unfortunately, it's taken until just recently to get our names and addresses unlinked from each other. >.<

We called multiple times, and each time they supposedly corrected it. Each time, mail was still sent to wrong addresses, etc. It was a nightmare.

Never had them, but based off the description, I don't think I'm missing much...

I thought they had to do away with musket Mickey due to PC, which is why he has a walking stick, now.

Of course, the reason that Lou gave for Mickey to not carry around anything does seen pretty legit.

We tried that in 2006. The two sites were supposed to be side by side. When we got there, they were not.

A not-so-happy CM did eventually move our sites (had to switch loops).

So, while it can be done, from my experience, it's not a guarantee.

It absolutely floors me what parents will let their kids do because "it won't happen to me" or "the chances of it happening are so low". Ridiculous.

I've seen where you can supposedly request a specific color on My Disney's app/Disney's website. I haven't had any luck with that. Anyone know?

That's actually less than I thought. We pay about $1-1.50 for a gallon at Rulers, but we've had to pay $7.00 at Thorntons before.

Awesome! We've got a Disney Visa, but I didn't know about 10% off at TE.

I will say that our waitress was VERY accommodating when we went in 2010. G was three, so we had to pay for her. She literally ate NOTHING. Our waitress let us box up what was on her plate.

What are some of the usual activities at the Fort during the weekend of Easter? I know that in the past, there have been some character visits...is that only for Sunday, or are they there on Saturday?

I'd love to be at the Fort this Halloween, but we're going to be at a local campground. Definitely should be at the Fort for Easter, though. Maybe even next fall break, as well, if we can swing it.

I know what you mean about the Olympics and how quickly four years goes. My 1 & 5 yr olds will be 5 & 9. I can't even fathom that right now. I can't imagine them in their 20's, although in sure that will happen before I can blink.
