  1. So here's what I think I know, and I've been watching this one. The Greenberg thing is a mess, but they may have been very actively undermined by a ruthless competitor who wrote false reviews, lured one or more top employees, and so on. Elite appears to have nothing to do with Greenberg. I think more may be revealed over time.

I bet someone could get away with stealth camping at FW for a while. You could just move a tent around every few days and place it in between 2 sites along the canals. Or go totally stealth with a small camo tent in the woods, go in and out of the tent at dark, carry a backpack with a change of clothes to the comfort station, and just chill at the pool and marina all day.

Interesting adventure. Wonder if anyone has ever done this. Maybe loop 1900?

I doubt that will happen.  Etsy already covers intellectual property rights in their terms of service for sellers and has a mechanism in place for reporting it.  Disney could very easily file complaints if they wanted to.

    Free advertising!!

I do think you're right that this is a "piece of the pie" thing.  Custom shirts is something super easy for them to do and they already know there's a big market for it.

The free advertising advantage has to be weighed with dilution of the brand. For example, there are some really great vloggers out there these days. But many of them are rather meh to say the least.

Sometimes you will hear them talk about Disney in  a way that suggests that they actually represent Disney in some way, or have some sort of superior knowledge - in a way that crosses the "editorial" line. My guess is that some folks in Disney PR find these cringe-worthy, and may eventually act.

I wonder if the Mouse is jumping into this market with plans to go after the Etsy and similar sellers for license infringement.  They obviously see all the folks at the parks wearing custom shirts, and must be feeling they are missing out on a huge revenue stream.

I think they have been going after sellers for quite some time. Here's a link to a DIS discussion on this a few years back. https://www.disboards.com/threads/disney-closing-etsy-shops.3323326/   It appears that one of the ways that Disney (and other companies for that matter) go after folks is by sending them a letter after Disney is notified by someone else - the someone else being a competitor of the offender. The assumption is that competitors file complaints to Disney, and then Disney shuts it down. There are still many, many out there using Disney Trademarks and names, and the number grows daily.

800 is very popular with the weekend warriors. Because of the lack of comfort stations,  600 and 700 seem to have less small children.

I would also consider 1100- its remoteness probably makes it less attractive to the wild crowd

I agree about 1100 for the quiet factor. 800 is a big loop, I think, and gets a lot of travel.

We only have 2 kids so I can relate more to just you and INC going to the park. Dollywood never fails. I could sit and people watch and just listen and o music there all day. I think we spent $600 for 4 season passes to both Dollywood and splash country. We plan on visiting 2 or three times this year and it worked out to be a great deal

    SOLD!

Yeah I haven't seen anything so far that looks as big as 15 stories.

Makes me wonder if the CM scuttlebutt is confusing this with the new Coronado Springs building - which IS in the neighborhood of 15 stories.

    That makes sense.
