It has been a couple of years since we have been to the Fort and I want to say thanks to everybody that has posted a trip report. Being able to see the pictures and read about the trips makes us feel like we are there! This year we are going to start making our way back to the Fort but like I said. Thanks!!!

That is a rough one. While I thought the movie was cool I was NOT one of the people crying wanting to live there and all of that insanity. As a tie in to Disney I think they will do a great job with it and the technology will be great but... Disney has so many other properties it could launch to enhance AK I almost think of this as a cheap way to bring in guests. Almost like they are not trying hard. If that makes any sense.

I just realized I forgot to post an important photo.

As we were pulling in to the resort, we noticed that there was a log floating along in the water just off to the side of the entrance bridge:

On closer inspection, the log had eyes and a big mouth with a lot of pointy teeth!:

That is pretty cool but big brotherish. What if I had walked from my room in the 98 degree heat and I needed to have more than one drink every 5 mins after I bought my cup? I like the technology though. Put it on the pool gates and the gates for the pavilions so guests only can use them.

The only way this would work is if it was a Friday the 13th type movie filmed at the Fort with a "fiendish" character taking the law in his/her own hands with the locals non guests using the pools and stuff. That would be a film!

I have thought about how awesome it would be to take my 23B and put it on a large trailer frame with room just like your is now. I love that setup! I can't wait to see a trip report with it!
