When we talked in January he was hoping to eventually be involved with the new "Shanghai Disney" maybe this is his first step towards that goal.
Let's see, China, Hawaii, sounds like a no brainer to me.
Aulani's first phase is scheduled to open in late August so if Jeff is the Front Office Manager, he should be leaving the Fort soon.
I've heard some not so good things about him, but in my efforts to do what I do on the side, he was most helpful. I couldn't have done it without him. Guess I'll have to find out who his replacement is going to be.
He was involved with Hong Kong Disney and really enjoyed it as did his wife that is why he is hoping to do Shainghai. He was very helpful and understanding, as well with us, when we had issues with Sam Gates.

Jeff Martin appears to be moving on. His official title is Front Office Mgr, but for the Aulani resort. He's still at the Fort though.

Would our resident "BUS DRIVER" know if CM's have such priviledges, that they take advantage of on Holidays? Thus the influx of "locals".

We use I-75 throught Atlanta regularly when going to the Fort. Maybe we're bad but I also use the HOV lane with th MH, have seen others doing it as well. Passed police numerous times never been told to move over. It only says 2 or more peope and no trucks, nothing about trailers. I've actually seen landscapers and others with trailers in that lane as well with 2 people in the cab. I also agree you need to avoid the rush hour periods, which we usually do.

Bye, bye Golf Carts and ECVs

It's not advice, it's mandatory if you want to get a bus CDL. You're expected to look at both your mirrors every 12 to 15 seconds. Sounds like a lot doesn't it? They're very strict about it. Every year during the dreaded WDW bus driver audit, the auditors look for it and penalize you if you don't do it.
This is how we adjust the mirrors. The magnifying mirror should be set so that we can see the rear wheel up to the front door. And the regular mirror should be set so that we can see the rear corner of the bus and pick up where the magnifying mirror leaves of vertically. After a while you can do it in a minute or so.

That's the advantage of being retired, it just goes on hold around Thansgiving thru Chirstmas.. (and we have winterized several times over a couple months)

Im sure he stopped once out of view of those who witnessed it. He was probably too embarased to think about getting out right then and there. And before you ask, no it wasnt me.
Or he didn't hear it and is one of "many" who should not be driving a large MH or towing..And yes I'm a little prejudiced since I have a Class "A" CDL...

We are on our second JAYCO MH since 2001. They are a wonderful company to deal with, very customer oriented. I know several people that have had out of warranty issues covered by JAYCO (both trailers and mhs). Our son just picked up his 17Z yesterday. The fact that they are still a family owned company (which includes STARCRAFT RV and ENTEGRA COACH) you don't have the corporate philosophy to deal with if you have issues. Also you get a 2 year warrranty on any new unit.

I think you will find easy and hard sites in just about every loop, 600 may be the exception since it is fairly straight road vs a circle/loop.
We were in 400 in Jan and there are some very large, easy to manuver sites in that loop as well.

I don't like the higher prices any more than anyone else, but it reminds me of the embargo in the early 90's. We all survived and so did the RV industry.
The good ole, USofA has more oil in Colorado, Wyoming and the Dakotas than Saudi Arabia, we just need a President who has some, male genetilia, and will allow us to drill.. As soon as the ban is lifted the price of a barrel will drop by a minimum of $50.
