X2 with Jason. Everything works great while we were there. Had to go to outpost for the different reservations.

Can you visit the French quarter using the mb from the fort wilderness by cas? We took the bus to dd then the boat

I thought I would update this post. Jason came thru and got our reservations over the New Year so I don't need a plan B. I do have a reservation at the Trails End that we will honor anyway.

Just wanted to let everyone know the Jason :worship: got our reservations for Dec 30 thru Jan 6. He worked his tail off on getting them for us. Now I can cancel my plan B for New Years Eve fireworks that my wife wants to see. If I can stay up that late.

Jason :worship: , is helping me get reservations for over the new year and is working hard to get what we want. Hopefully he can get the rest of the days. I know it is a very busy week.

While :worship: Jason is trying to get a reservation for us over the New Years my wife wants to see the New Year Eve's fireworks. I need to come up with a Plan B. Can you park at the settlement without being registered at Fort Wilderness and then take the internal bus to the beach? What do you tell the guard at the entrance?

Does anyone know if there is a sunset cruise on any of the lakes at disney?

I have stayed at both Deer Run and Ozark. They are both good for overnight. Whatever you decide have fun at Disney.

Looks like I have a few options.

I have reservations for HDDR and staying at the campground. Can you tell me where to pick up the tickets at Fort Wilderness besides the box office?

We go the 231 route and don't have any problems. It is all 4 lane. You do go thru some small towns but not really that bad. If you go the 231 route at Montgomery from I-65 take I-85 east to exit 9 (Taylor rd) to 231. It is all 4 lane. There are a couple of nice campgrounds on route 231.

Carol & Pam, just wanted to update you on my reservation. I got it revised for the time that I wanted Dec 28, 2013 thru Jan 11, 2014. :yay: Now we just have to wait.

I was wondering how did you came up with the backin discription? Like site 605 is 'very hard' but it doesn't look like it.

Can you tell me where I can find the FF travel agents? I can not express enough graditute for all your help. I got more help here that I did at the other (which will be unnamed) site.
