  1. SOARIN!!!. Then the Haunted Mansion, Riverboat ride, Hall of Presidents. Don't care for roller coasters.
  2. You mean to tell me that the person in front of your campsite didn't have trouble with air leaking from his tires? :rofl2: In this instance I decided to take the high road and try to ignore it. Really hard though. Normally I wouldn't. I just wrote it off to another inconsiderate a-hole. Seems like the world is getting more and more of them. Good thing I had already had my coffee, or things might have been different. It seems to me that you could take this up with the staff at FW (maybe after he looses air from his tires?) and they would probably remove the car. They dont have any right to pa
  3. Wow!! $600.00 worth of gas in one day? I think I'd be looking at another truck. I don't think I could burn that much fuel if I ran my motorhome, car, and truck all at the same time. As for shipping your gear, I would think you could buy a whole bunch of new stuff down here for the cost of shipping. You'd also be pretty screwed if the shipper lost part of your gear, if it gets damaged, or doesn't get delivered on time. Whatever you decide, hope you have a happy trip. :bday:
  4. About the only thing I have seen that really burns my crust other than the rude, in-a-hurry people, are the jerk-offs that think parking in front of your campsite so they can catch a boat to the MK is ok. :bday: Had one do this the last time I was there. He left his car in the way the entire day. Another was the guy next to us that turned on his outside TV very loud and then went back in his coach. He never did watch the TV.
  5. I like the west side of 400 because it's easier for me to get into and I also watch all the loopers in their carts on the main road.
  6. Your favorite loop will depend on what you intend to camp in. All sites that I know will take a popup or tent, but if you have a fairly large TT, 5th Wheel or Coach, some loops don't work so well. I would like to stay in the 100 or 200 loops but can't get my coach in either very easily. 1600, 1800, 800, 700, will work if no one is parked directly across from your selected site. Makes it difficult to back in. I also like some of the sites in the 400 loop. The ones on the west side are better. Haven't stayed in any of the others, so can't comment on them.
  7. Calm Down. Take a deep breath. Percodan or prozac, your choice. Now say this with me - BY SICKLE. Now put the two words together. Bicycle, Bicycle, Bicycle. Slowly at first, then a bit faster. Do this ten times and then take 5 slooooow deep breaths. Feel better now? I know I do. Darn, quick replies don't have all the neat smilies. Here's mine - :) :) :)
  8. Thanks all for the welcome. Yes, I was a Sensei in my earlier years. Then only teaching I would do now is if someone decided to invade my space or was not very nice to me or my family. I'm getting too old to play hard anymore and much prefer a smile and a handshake. Thanks again. I'll have to keep my eye open the next time we camp at FW and see if I can spot any "Fiends".
  9. Thought I saw a heading for introducing yourself, but can't find it. Please forgive me if I post this in the wrong place. Name is Rick. Live 30 min. from WDW and have been going to the parks and campgrounds since they opened. (dating myself aren't I). Visits aren't as numerous now as in the past, but about once a year I need my Disney fix. It just doesn't take much to make me happy anymore. As I posted in another thread, I appreciate the work of those that started this site and those that post and keep it going. I am looking forward to reading of members adventures and Disney tips. Thanks for
  10. A few months ago we traded our 5th wheel in for a 35 ft. Allegro. Didn't make me sad at all when I saw our old rig on the for sale page. Enjoy your new coach.
  11. I ran across this site a few days ago, and have spent a good deal of time reading all the posts. Sure brings back some memories which go back all the way to the opening of WDW. My wife and I went for the first time the October WDW opened and have returned periodically since. Some of the best times in my life were camping at the Fort. Started out in a tent at $10.00 per night in 1972 and have gone the full route, popup, travel trailer, 5th wheel, and now class A. Prices sure aren't what they used to be. Gone are the days of a ticket book for $9.00 which included those highly valuable
