Our Server told us, Isle of Mann or Isle of Wright We enjoy the cabins. I would prefer to have a camper but the DH is not the camping type. I am working on changing his mind! I had the pot pie and DH had the sampler(fried chicken, pot roast and meat loaf)! Everything was great!

I got a few points, but now he wants to sky dive! :rofl2: I agree, I also think it was wonderful that they got to ride in the car. My brother an ex F-22 pilot, would say it was a little slow at 140 mph! :rofl2:

Now DH likes racing. Right now his favorites are F-1 and Indy. NASCAR has taken a back seat, to "cookie cutter", translation boring! I found out that in the afternoon after the NASCAR cars finish, they have Indy cars you can drive or ride in a two seater. We got to the racetrack around 3:30 and he was the last person for the day about 6pm. Everyone ahead of him was driving a car. The professional driver is ahead of you and helps you know where to drive the car. A little background on the car DH was in. After lunch we headed back to the cabin. I had something special lined up for DH that afternoon! But first we went looping! I know it looks like the same picture, but it just so pretty! Everything looks so peaceful, until you see this!

Well I am back. Work got in the way. :rofl2: After the roller coaster we hit the shops for a while to cool off. I love the art deco in some of the shops. We decided to ride The Great Movie Ride, we were wasting time till lunch. They had changed things up a little since I was last on the ride. We were "hijacked" in the western scene. When we got off it was time for lunch at 50's Prime Time. We had a great server, she had us doing homework! We had to name 9 countries that started with I. We had 8.

Cool stuff. I know when our oldest son worked at AK, their area was always trying to sell the most Disney Conservation buttons.

We got our lanyards. Disney had a a/c tent set up on the other side of Rock n Roller coaster. I did see where you could get your pic with "Princess Leia". I wanted to check out what they were selling but DH said it was time to ride the roller coaster! It is fun to look around. We try and use the single rider lines if possible. So I was able to sit with a nice gentleman who had never been on the ride. He kept asking if it was dangerous. I said no but that it did go upside down. He told his family and the wife said what do I do with my purse. I said put it between your legs and hold tight!

Disney does a great job. If you are into Star Wars you can meet some of the actors and such. Plus it is fun to see the Disney characters in Star Wars costumes. We didn't stay for the whole day. I like Star Wars but the DH isn't really into it. We are waiting till after our black out dates to return and ride Star Tours. We didn't want to fight the crowds.

Saturday was Studio day. My plan for the weekend was to have lunch somewhere different for my DH and then head back to the cabin in the afternoon. This worked really well this year. It was Star Wars Weekend, so of course I wanted to get the free lanyard for Passholders. The crowds weren't to bad. We saw these 2 people. Gotta say they love Star Wars and the Packers!

My DH says I take to long to tell a story, so he just will read them! :rofl2:

Well it is Saturday morning and I head to pick up a cart. I then went for a quick ride while DH was getting ready. Saw this at the Meadow Trading Post The door said "Disney's Animal Programs and Environmental Initiatives" Don't know what they were doing. Maybe someone might? Went by the cabin pool and they were working on Saturday. When I returned to pickup DH at the cabin, this is what I saw. There were a total of 4 including 2 younger ones.

First I would like to give a shout out to the DH. He is lurking around here somewhere! :rofl2: He saw someone's sign over the weekend and had to check the website out. I think he is just checking up on me! :rofl2: I told him he just need to sign up! I will wait and see.

The flat screens are nice! DH enjoyed watching hockey and basketball on them. He was doing better! He had some test several years ago, they could never pinpoint what he has. Maybe Chron's (sp?), so we go and do what we can and always have a backup plan! I have some coming!

He is doing ok. He has stomach problems to begin with, so this did not help. He did make it through the rest of the weekend though! I grew up camping, so I would love to have our own camper. Maybe some day. After 3 years staying in the cabins, he finally has come around to enjoying the Fort!

Our plan was to take in EMH at Magic Kingdom. As I was sitting there enjoying to AC, I went through the Welcome Packet. I noticed on the map that there are 3 WIFI spots at the Fort. I thought I have seen on the boards people asking about this. According to the map it is available at Trail's End, Meadow Trading Post and the Reception Outpost. Well it was time to head to the MK but, DH was sick from the fast food we picked up on the drive over. We think it was food poisoning. So he stayed at the cabin and I headed over to MK. Well we finally made it to the cabin. We got all our stuff put away and watched a little tv waiting for it to cool down. This is looking out from our porch. On the other side of this brush is the horse trail ride. We saw the riders go by a couple of times over the weekend. Before I continue with our adventures, let me say a few things about the cabin. It looks like they have been freshening thing up. The paint on the deck looked and smell new. The carpet in the bedroom looks newer and the bath/shower stall looks new. Thanks, I am doing this at work between jobs. It is nice that I work for really nice people!! Plus we take them to EPCOT for Food and Wine and a good bribe goes a long way!

I have tried believe me! We go to the shows and look but can't get him to commit.

I have never written a trip report, so I hope everyone enjoys reading along! It was just myself and DH this trip. Our 2 sons are grown and have moved away from home. It looks like another trip is in the works for November though, with the oldest son and his soon to be fiancee. Yea! Well on with this story. We left home about about 6:30pm, we both had to work, and made it to the Fort about 7:30pm. I had taken advantage of the online check in. This was not helpful this time because they had only 1 check in person. DH was not happy. Now I must say here that we stay in the cabins. I would love to
