If I can go it'll probably be Wednesday the 28th for either 3 or 4 nights.  From there I'm taking Blueridge Parkway north & then cutting across DC to get to Maryland & go see Matthew graduate high school.  I think it'll take 2 days for my trip up the parkway because I'll stop & see sites along the way.  Also might be able to go on a ghost hunt with Mr.Slozer.     But before all this I still have to figure out money & convince husband.

You girls get it together!     I think I might go & make LoLo and her girls meet me there!    All we have to do is work out the logistics, find some money, and convince our husbands.  Nothing to it, right?

That is Linda giving her "the finger!" She was telling her to be nice, like that did any good! lol The other Wild Womenz just laughed when she talked about my Fat A**! From reading all this I have realized that y'all are happy she is talking about me and not y'all! Just keep hanging around her, she'll get on your Fat A**'s eventually! Linda used to be "not AS fat," but she has become family and is officially a Fat A** now too! Poor Melissa was a Fat A** the first time they met!

yeppie, she didn't even know my name yet and she called me a Fat A** and told me that me & Rita needed to go out do some laps around the loop!  She's nicer to me now though

We will be there as usual, and this year we are camping instead of cabins or Lodge.

It was that odd assortment of food counters in the Land, lower level.  I'm not a huge fan of it but it was better than nothing.  I had joined the girls as they left MK and headed to Epcot.  And yes, I stopped at Starbucks.  I offered coffee to all the ladies, compliments of my unknowing husband, but they didn't want any.  So I had enough shots of espresso for everyone.  I had a venti with double shots, clerk says "Maam do you KNOW how much caffeine that is?"  Of course I do.   Kept me up until about 4:30am.  LOL    The extra Khalua in it once we reached camp was fabulous addition.     Now you see why I'm the last to go to bed, and don't get up until afternoon.

As we were at Epcot I was tagged in a couple of pictures on facebook and received notice a bit later that my sister was not only working that night, but we had walked right past her.  OOPS.   Didn't realize it.

We were told in the beginning, and through a congressional questioning, that we would have the ability to 'opt out' of the magicbands and continue to use kttw cards and our regular tickets/passes.  So in other words, Disney lied about this.  I don't mind using a mb when I'm on property but I'll be d$J$J$ if they think I will carry those things with me each time I'm in Orlando 'just in case' I decide to 'touch & go' a park.  I've done that before & storing an AP card in wallet is easy for those quick stops.  No way will I carry a MB around all the time.

Also, when you enter the parks and you enter rides the cm can see your name on their screen, or so I was told.  And I have been addressed by the name on the MB as I entered the park.

I had no intentions of using a magic band to begin with and now I double my objections (I'll opt out & use keycards as I've been doing).   So it wasn't to make things easier or faster, it was to make them more money.  You knew there had to be a catch somewhere!

I'm in.    We're at the cabins July 3, 4, 5.   That means I'll have a real stove & oven if you need it.

That's awesome! The only 'character' I don't see is good old Musket Mickey. I bet AuburnJen can tell you about that decal. But I love what you've done!!!

The time I had to move from OKW was a few years ago & I was told it was the same at all DVC resorts. I guess things have changed

One year we were staying at Old Key West during a vaca just following a camping trip to St Pete. After OKW we were going to be staying at the fort for a few days. They wouldn't allow us to park the camper at the resort! They would only give us one hour to unload what we needed out of the pup & couldn't set it up to do that. We then had to take it to the fort's overflow to park it. We were told this was policy at all of the resorts. I'm curious if it's the same now that parking has become such an issue.

I love that Boardwalk Joe's is a buck less than the stand at epcot.

Epcot gets crazy for St. Pat's day, so I might venture over there as well. Is anybody else going? I might end up there alone (although I'll have Lou on speed dial to play chaperone & pick me up if I can no longer function on my own)
