One other fiend and I frequently 'fight' over the other being on 'our' site 1601. We both really like the location & if you are doing a full-hook-up it is great. But I would suggest getting a premium site if you are able. The have concrete pads where the full hook ups have a good portion of the site as coquina sand.

My family likes to stay at the KOA. A bit outside of town, but a pleasant drive. The campground is awesome, clean, friendly, pool and putt putt, etc.

Stone Mountain is good. You would probably also like Indian Springs State Park in Jackson.

It was that odd assortment of food counters in the Land, lower level. I'm not a huge fan of it but it was better than nothing. I had joined the girls as they left MK and headed to Epcot. And yes, I stopped at Starbucks. I offered coffee to all the ladies, compliments of my unknowing husband, but they didn't want any. So I had enough shots of espresso for everyone. We were told in the beginning, and through a congressional questioning, that we would have the ability to 'opt out' of the magicbands and continue to use kttw cards and our regular tickets/passes. So in other words, Disney lied about this. I don't mind using a mb when I'm on property but I'll be d$J$J$ if they think I will carry those things with me each time I'm in Orlando 'just in case' I decide to 'touch & go' a park. I had no intentions of using a magic band to begin with and now I double my objections (I'll opt out & use keycards as I've been doing). So it wasn't to make things easier or faster, it was to make them more money. You knew there had to be a catch somewhere!

My sister & I will be there Sunday early in the day, then a trip to Epcot to see Off Kilter & drink around the world, then back to Raglan Road. I'd say that I'll be easy to spot with my lime green hair, but I have a feeling that many people will have green hair.

The time I had to move from OKW was a few years ago & I was told it was the same at all DVC resorts. I guess things have changed

One year we were staying at Old Key West during a vaca just following a camping trip to St Pete. After OKW we were going to be staying at the fort for a few days. They wouldn't allow us to park the camper at the resort! They would only give us one hour to unload what we needed out of the pup & couldn't set it up to do that. We then had to take it to the fort's overflow to park it. We were told this was policy at all of the resorts. I'm curious if it's the same now that parking has become such an issue.

I love that Boardwalk Joe's is a buck less than the stand at epcot.

Epcot gets crazy for St. Pat's day, so I might venture over there as well. Is anybody else going? I might end up there alone (although I'll have Lou on speed dial to play chaperone & pick me up if I can no longer function on my own)
