Congress ding dong has issues with my gen
MandMandMandMandM replied to Beckers's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
I personally don't want the bracelets & have many of the same concerns that congressman has. On the local news tonight they said that Disney would make them optional and if you wanted to go old school with current cards you could. -

Had he said that to me one of the following things would have happened: 1. (if Matthew was with me, in his glorious build of being 6'2 & 185 pounds) Me to Matt "The man just said that he told Santa you weren't getting any gifts this year" Matt's response would be to scream, holler, push him & possibly hit him (yes Matt has had a couple of violent outbursts) 2. (if Matthew wasn't with me) I'm going all Southern on his ass & kicking the crap out of him. Wouldn't be the first ass to get it.

Great, strollers, wheelchairs, electric carts & now this. No lack of 'vehicles' to run over/into you at the parks.

What being a Fiend is ALL ABOUT
MandMandMandMandM replied to LORNADUCK's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
It's like I said to someone the other day on facebook (who I met thanks to the fiends), I feel as though we are so much alike, just different enough to make it interesting, and we get along so well, it feels like we've been friends for many many years. Maybe in our hearts we always have been. And I think we always will be great friends. And whether you've been around since the big bang happened (like Jen and Lorna and Donnie, etc.) or you're brand new to the group, it doesn't matter. Still family. -
What being a Fiend is ALL ABOUT
MandMandMandMandM replied to LORNADUCK's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Being a sometimes single woman with some physical limitations, I would NEVER have gone camping alone. But with the Fiends I do it all the time. I know they're there to help me if I need it, they keep an eye on me, they oftentimes feed me (I hate cooking), they've become my shrinks, they're great marriage counselors, always there when you need them, they're entertaining, and they're simply kind and loving people. I'm closer to some of them than to members of my family. They ARE family to me! And I love them :heartsmiley: -
Elkmont CG (Great Smoky Mtn NP)
MandMandMandMandM replied to ImDownWithDisney's topic in Pictures from other Campgrounds
When I was a teenager we stayed there a few times. I really enjoyed it (even without electricity) The funnest part was locking up all food before it gets dark because of the bears. They'd show up at sunset wanting your dinner! We watched them eat things at others' sites like a whole can of Crisco and bones and whole dinners being fixed. -

Tinker Bell or Tinker Beau
MandMandMandMandM replied to Lou...'s topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
A few years ago I filed a complaint (or at least letting Disney management know what they had on their shelves) about a certain "Tinkerbell" glass statuette that was sold at the glass kiosk at Germany in Epcot. (I found out later it was being sold all over the place). I had seen this once & reported it so when I saw it the 2nd time a month later I really had to complain a bit. Tinkerbell was sitting "Indian style" She might have had bubbies, but she also had the male part too! A little too much glass in the crotch area. My family started calling it/her "TinkerBob" How I do wis -

Cruise Magnets and T-shirt Designs
MandMandMandMandM replied to Onkel Hans's topic in Fiendish Designs
I have only used magnets for Halloween, I like your idea MUCH better! The magnetic paper used to work well and then they went and had all the doors coated so now not so much. I'm going to get some thicker magnetic sheets and glue my 'old' magnets to it so I don't have to reprint everything. I also have used the thicker stuff at Walmart that has the adhesive on it. Yes, I do doors at the resort too:) Be sure to write on the back of your magnets something like "This magnet was permanently borrowed from Hans" Silver marker works best. It keeps some of the theivery down, but you'll still -

Cruise Magnets and T-shirt Designs
MandMandMandMandM replied to Onkel Hans's topic in Fiendish Designs
I L-U-V that tag:) Are you an employee or a dedicated passenger? I have about 50 magnets just for Southwest. Then about 50 for our kids & pets. I do 5-10 magnets for each planned port stop. Then at least another 30-ish for Fort Wilderness and 30-40 of other Disney/DVC. For Valentines Day it was 'sweetheart' themed, and then for the day after, the 'it's anything but love" "thanks for making all the single people feel like crap on valentines day" and rude-ish magnets. We also cruise in October and I have Halloween even though we go mid-month. We have hubby & myself, 5 kids, an
