  1. I'll say it too, Holy S87t!!! So glad you all made it out okay. Looks horrible. I see all your Fort things survived including the magnets above the stove.
  2. I don't have little ones, and I don't cook, my family's favorites are anything I Don't cook. lol But, in the past, the favorites were spaghetti, mac 'n cheese with hot dogs, beef stew in crockpot, pork chops (grill or shake n' bake), hot dogs, burgers, steak, basically whatever you fix at home, plus the ever-popular "giddy up n go" chicken meal from Trail's End at the Fort.
  3. Dave, hope you don't mind me answering part of last question..... Memphis, there are pics of signs that I took, I just can't seem to find them on my camera! Must be hiding same place as the shuttle launch pics from yesterday. Okay, I admit that I'm having camera issues. Auburn family, LornaDuck, Total Joker, Hillbilly Whisperer & I all had signs on carts/sites in 1600 and 1700 loops. Don't know about the other loops. Here's mine and Auburn & I had up clotheslines. Mine even has a "Snarky" bra.
  4. I enjoy stopping off at one of the resorts on the line after closing to shop or grab a snack before heading out to my car which is usually parked at Epcot (sometimes at TTC). Now I won't have time to play on the way.
  5. I too am glad to have you here Ranger Bill! I was also happy to see more security this past week but became extremely frustrated twice at the pool. On both the 3rd and the 4th I attempted to take my son to the main pool and wasn't able to get in. I had been told that ID's were being checked & about the wristbands. But when I arrived there was nobody checking ID and I knew that some were locals, hence the locals who drove up in front of me, stopped on the road, everyone got out with their 'gear' and walked to the pool. They joined a large group at the pavilion. I didn't see anyone of
  6. I thought I took of pic of Lou's backside but was wrong. I bet Kampfire Kim has one though. We want to start a new game of "name the person this behind belongs to". LOL Loving TR Dave, couldn't you find a pic of me with my mouth closed?
  7. I was stung by yellow flies twice & have those horrible welts a week later. ugh. But I did get spiked too, so the welts are okay. Thanks TCD!!!!!
  8. I think that's my Doctor. LOL I'll check her tags on the next visit. She's new to camping at the Fort, and is part of a club in Brevard county. I'm trying to get her over to the Dark Side:)
  9. I only got to see it for about 20 seconds, and I LIVE HERE!!! Didn't even get a picture of it.
  10. One of the true benefits of 'our' pool over the other resorts......the 24/7 operating schedule. The others all close overnight. At least we have something over 'them'! :rofl2:
  11. Below are the DVC rules on pool hopping. Basically if I want to go to a pool & it's not packed & on a listed date, I'm in like Flynn. But, I have to show my ID and if full I have to leave. So why don't non-Fort guests have to at least show KTTW cards to use pool? That way those that sneak in have to leave. It would also allow campers, as resort guests, to go to other pools. Inconsistency is astounding. And most wouldn't have thought about pool hopping if these rules weren't in the check-in packets. This serves as an encouragement to hop. Pool Hopping Information When staying o
  12. my neighbors couldn't figure out how I bought my old lime green flamingos that have now turned purple, until they caught me outside spraypainting another set. lol
  13. I just found this thread. lol didn't know you were at crystal river. I need more internet time!
  14. Maybe it's for those that pull too much electricity? Hopefully they don't outlaw flamingos! I'd be up poopoocreek.
  15. Thanks Dave & Runner, I'd have given you each a bit more respect if I could have!!! I LUUUUVVVVV me some peeps!!! and the chocolate, couldn't live without it. Trying these recipes tomorrow night:)
  16. http://fortfiends.net/forum/index.php?topic=207.0 (it's fort fiends community board @ very top, if this link doesn't work)
  17. I heard people wanted you to go to Please Introduce Yourself page last week, but you'd already gone offline.
  18. I use the raid camp fogger (even at home 40 miles east of FW). Sometimes I have to use it more than once, but it works great along with wearing skeeter spray.
  19. The Old Lady beat me to it.....it's a PROTEIN SPILL Lou. How long you worked there?! Back to Mouseketeer training for you.
  20. Just remember that kitchen (plus potty) allows you to possibly deduct the interest expense as a second home. Untili met my hubby, I would have said that about my house's kitchen. :grpwelcome: You mean I can claim hubby as a business expense?!?!? Oh wait, I don't work. Did you mean HE could claim ME as a business expense if we're in the kitchen? THAT makes sense <blushing>
  21. I don't cook, so I only have a kitchen because it came with the house/camper. It's only for looks and for someone else to come cook in it:)
  22. I agree with you both. Houston deserves it, it IS space-related and this is nothing more than politics. New York has NOTHING to do with the space vehicles or launches.
