Cruise Magnets and T-shirt Designs
MandMandMandMandM replied to Onkel Hans's topic in Fiendish Designs
Did you see pics of my overdecorated doors? There is a thread under cruises here on ff.net and here is a pic of my door on Princess a couple of weeks ago. The one with the letters....I put them up a different day. they spell out our names. I tend to change magnets daily because I have too many. On Valentines I change it all to hearts, Mickey/Minnie kissing, etc. -
GREAT cabin! I tried to get it for next cruise, but it was booked, so I'll be 2 doors down. I think 'once you go aft you never go back' love those & Yes, the balconies are H U G E.

Going on our first cruise for spring break.

So happy for you & your family! You'll have a great time. Alcohol.....If you take any, take the small one-serving bottles. Try if possible to get those with Plastic caps. Those with metal caps stand out during the x-ray of your luggage. (and yes, EVERY piece of luggage gets x-rayed, no exception) Put a couple of them in with your toiletries. They'll appear as mouthwash, etc. Then separate the rest of them, no more than 2 per piece of luggage. You might still get caught, but less likely. We also always carry the wine with us & a corkscrew. Stop by a bar to get wine glasses, -
Sorry for not posting sooner!! Life is crazy, or maybe it's me that's crazy? maybe both. Anyway, here's my four cents worth: I returned from a Valentines cruise with hubby to find a message from Lorna on the machine. Typical Lorna message (I love her) in her newjorker accent..."Helllllloooooo where the heck arrrrre you?" She says to call her because the 'girls' were going camping & I needed to be there. (since I don't get on ff.net often I hadn't known about the trip). Well I was too tired Friday to call her back. I worked (barely) at unpacking suitcases & doing laundry, and sle

I thought we weren't going into details about the barrels? ? I have some pics to share of the evening's festivities, but waiting for KFK to tell me when. I'm patient (HA!) (they've been on FB for a week) In the meantime I do have to share these little diddies. While online reading this thread last night I noticed something funny/weird. I'm not totally tech savvy & so I grabbed the camera to get a screenshot. I actually find it quite disturbing that the words written on this thread will then somehow tell the ad gurus in outerspace which ads to put at the top/bottom of our screens!! G

It's punishment for being loud and obnoxious over Halloween. It all started with that BATWIT thing at Epcot.

You are correct about the extra seat on Alice's cart. This picture was taken 10/30 as they came past my site. It shows the daughter (as Alice) sitting above. Just after they went past my site the Disney police came thru and stopped them. They actually held up traffic in the loop (& all of us bystanders gathered) to fully INSPECT the cart. They got under the table to look at brakes and lights, etc. They made Alice come off her perch and said they were concerned that she'd fall so they couldn't use the seat. This was even after the Mad Hatter showed them how the seat was attached &

Don't forget the Grand Floridian too. -
When we store our camper we remove the battery to keep people from stealing it. Recently we pulled the camper out to prep it and my hubby installed the battery backwards. Of course he blew almost every fuse!! All is fine except for the lovely stereo system. To remove the system to look for fuses (is this even what we are looking for?) the instructions call for you to use the special key to release the locking mechanism. Well we never received a key. I called the place we purchased the camper from and the repair department said they have no keys. By chance do any fiends have a Jensen ste

I do the exact same thing!! I can't stand little tags (especially 4 tags per item) on anything. I don't think they are going to come check though. I do have the ends of some of the boxes the lights came in, hopefully that will do. However, where am I going to fit my decorations this year? It's the decorating that is so much fun for me & now there is no way I can do my little cemetery. I'm totally bummed. My neighbors begged me to stay home this year, and I probably will next year.

Guest Review: Special Diets Dining Aboard the Disney Dream

Hubby is diabetic and behaved with having the sugar-free desserts. I must say that sometimes they were better than the 'regular' desserts. Don't fear if you need a sugar-free choice:) -
What the heck? HELP!
MandMandMandMandM replied to cinderella73's topic in Off Property Rentals (Non Disney)
I have personally never dealt with these people and always use Kenny or recommend AlumaCar Sun City. That being said, here's my take on the update to this situation...... Anybody who has ticked me off, even in the slightest, and then asks me not to post about them, well, they'd best hold tight to their a$$!!! I would personally go out of my way to talk about them, here & other boards. I would probably also contact the local Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau. Oh, and since I'm local I might also picket their business. I believe that if you sell something you had better be -

Magic Kingdom - 40 years ago
MandMandMandMandM replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
That's cool:) My brother performed in one of the bands on opening day. He received 10 tickets for his 'pay'. So within a week of opening my parents & 6 kids all went to Disney!!! I was 9 at the time. It was magical, still is today. I have been trying to find pics lately but my Mom has them squirreled away somewhere. I'll post when I find them.- 1 reply

Engagement Cruise Key West / Cozumel Trip Report

yayayayayayayayayay! can I be the flower-girl? -
We always try to rebook while onboard. Usually they'll give you some extra 'goodie' not available once you leave the ship. It's most times a lower deposit, or a nice onboard credit, or a 3rd/4th person free, or a refundable deposit if you change your mind in certain time. If you know for sure you want to have another DCL cruise (and isn't there always a 'next DCL cruise'?), I recommend you book onboard. ie: we know we want on the Fantasy October 13, 2012, and even have a list of cabins we prefer, so we'll be booking now.
