  1. you would be wrong, she gave up the cast member position almost 4 months ago. and your opinion about junk is subject to your standard, which is rather harsh and obviously worth very little to me.
  2. Its Florida, and its summer, assume something will be biting you than you ill be prepared. spent most of FEb. at the fort and spiders were my enemy, 6 bites the 1st week.
  3. got some pretty nasty spider bites during our 3 week stay this month.
  4. no I understand your feelings, its just a PITA waiting for a specific site because some people only think of themselves. The last 3 times we went we had a site assigned only to get there and find people still there at 1300 hrs. and told to wait in the overflow lot. In other word, if its 1100 hrs get the hell out!!!! This has nothing to do with soggy cheerios its just curtesy.
  5. with the realization that I am not the only person in the world that wants to start their vacation, I am usually out by 9am. I would never want to be one of the "special" people who can never seem to motivate their butts before 2pm. But than thats just me, I am sure there is amble justification for staying past the 11 am checkout and delaying the staff from cleaning the site for the next person besides just being ignorant.
  6. not to diminish the warm feeling i have for the Allison shop that has it now, but they have been looking at for 4 hours and still do not know whats wrong with it, I guess its an Alabama thing.
  7. funny thing about RV dealers and manufacturers they don't have to do anything! this thing has been a lemon since the day it left the lot, dealer has sent emails to factory stating same and sent me copies, there are 2 more just like it that were sold by this dealer, all 3 are equal lemons, Forest River made 18 of these for 2011 if they buy mine they will have to buy them all, so they find it better to keep repairing it until warranty expires or people trade them in, and no, there are no extended warranties that will cover the defects in these motor homes, I have had 1 refrigerator, 1 A/C, 1 ste
  8. whats so awful, we got to use it 9 days out of almost 3 months, every major system has been replaced and I don't have to pay for storage, at least thats what forest river thinks
  9. OK folks here is the story, bought a new motor home in july, it spent more time in for warranty work than we had possession of it, factory sent driver to pick it up and return it for " proper repairs" in Indiana, well it's transmission went in Alabama, so it is at an Allison shop in Birmingham before going to the factory, so here is my problem, we are supposed to be at the fort oct. 30 thru the 5th of november, it is highly unlikely that the repairs will be done in time, so who rents and delivers to the fort? any suggestions?
  10. well at least I sent a email to Meg Crofton with my specific complaints , probably get a form letter response
  11. was there over the weekend, the only rule was chaos , atv, utility vehicles, motorcycles, if it had wheels it was there and security said nothing.
