Did I make page one?? We love Off Kilter. We also noticed a lack of decorations.
-
WTFort why pay for a Disney cart? With the money you would save, by renting from Kenny, you could have beer delivered to your little cooler in the trunk. Unless AirTechs in SC make a LOT more money than in IL. :doublebeer:Any recent Disney rentals that know if the Disney carts are by calendar day or 24 hour period?
-
As an add on, when I was at Shades of Green in November they have a FREE three day pass to Universal Studios. It is for military member only. Good through March. We plan on getting Marilyn a three day ticket and going to see Harry Potter in Feb. Don't tell the Mouse.
Steph tell Jordan "OORAH, Job well done. Thanks."

It isn't.. It that size thing again, makes things look bigger than they actually are!! :rofl3:Why is your cup so much bigger???
-
They'll all have EXACTLY the same shape with different paint schemes. BRIAN HAS DECREED!!!!Can't wait to see what the new cars will look like next year.
83 mo days until the 500!!!!!!!

Thanks never thought to look into that.
Been reading/studying on towing requirements, and what all the accronyms mean. My girls are excited that I'm actually thinking about, I think they're ready to move off the ground.
Taking in slow and making sure to check into everything.
We have rented a pop up before when I was in the Navy, and we loved it. Sad to say the base doesn't rent them anymore.
Just curious did you try McDill? We are all in this together, I think??

If you lookaround Iowa, Illinois, etc there will TTs sitting on dealer lots all winter w/o tarps. With the winds that we get in the midwest I feel that the tarp blowing around would be like sandpaper on the seams of the roof. Even if it feels smooth it will still be abrasive.
A good solid roof shouldn't be affected by snow load, freeze/thaw and the other things that get thrown at it. :clint:

Here is what Michelin says about tire service life:
That is why, in addition to regular inspections and inflation pressure maintenance by
consumers, it is recommended to have RV/Motorhome tires, including spare tires, inspected
regularly by a qualified tire specialist, such as a tire dealer, who will assess the tire’s
suitability for continued service. Tires that have been in use for 5 years or more should
continue to be inspected by a specialist at least annually.
Consumers are strongly encouraged to be aware not only of their tires’ visual condition and
inflation pressure, but also of any change in dynamic performance such as increased air
loss, noise or vibration, which could be an indication that the tires need to be removed from
service to prevent tire failure.
It is impossible to predict when tires should be replaced based on their calendar age alone.
However, the older a tire the greater the chance that it will need to be replaced due to the
service-related evolution or other conditions found upon inspection or detected during use.
While most tires will need replacement before they achieve 10 years, it is recommended that
I got into the tire thing and was told the same thing theat Grumpy is quoting. Over/under inflation, over loading and constant sunshine are bigger enemies than age.
As far as financing you can go through "Good Sam", they use Essex which uses Bank of the West, they will give you a general prequal. Good Luck... :clint:

For several years we hauled two yorkies every where. Once they were used to the MH we could leave them out, in the coach, for 6-8 hours w/o any problem.
If you're no comforable doing that, I suggest leaving them on Lou's bus... :clint:
-
How'd that curly W work out for ya, Bob?
:clint:

-
Several campgrounds in the Orlando area don't allow carts. Orange Grove Campground allowa them when you have proof of insurance.

The Fort is the fiendliest place on earth cart or no cart.

I'm with you, not a fan of kimchi at all.We ventured to the Cast Preview of the 2012 Food and Wine Festival. This is one of those events we attend every year, but this is the first Cast Preview we have been able to attend.
The crowds were lower, but there were still allot of people. I attest this to the internet. Word gets around quick and this event is quickly becoming common place and people plan trips expecting it now. But nothing is guaranteed and a few booths were closed and some of the food items were not available. So its not the full experience.
We started out arriving at 1400....or 2pm (I gotta get out of that military time mindset).
The displays were up. I noticed the theme for this year. "Taste your Way Around the World." Disney is cashing in on the theme of so many guests to EPCOT. Drink your way around the world, eat your way around the world, shop your way around the world....you get the idea. Didnt need to put much imagination into that.
We head straight to World Showcase and begin our "trip". We had starved ourselves all day to prepare for this and was starving.
The first booth up was:
This was a new vegan booth. Nothing against vegans, but nothing seemed appealing to us, even after fasting all day.
Judge for yourself......

We had the Jerk chicken. We get one serving and share. This tactic helps us make it all the way around the world without exploding. We also pace ourselves, taking time to eat and relax at each destination rather than eat and run. Today we didnt have the normal full day to enjoy things. The preview was only from 2 to 8. Six hours to visit 29 locations.
Sorry, I forgot to get a picture of the chicken. Remember, I was famished at this point and nearly ate one of my fingers while devouring it.
The portion was small, for the cost, and you get one drum-let. The chicken was good though.

It sure as shootin' is free!
But yes, you still need to rent their modem to get the wired internet connection.
However WiFi is on the way!
They've already started the project and reports are they're still working on the WiFi throughout the Fort (also free) but you absolutely can get free wired internet at the Fort. And the places where the paid WiFi was previously available now offer it for free as well.
More details here...
When we were there in July we didn't have to rent the modem. Just went to the Outpost and gave them our site number and they gave us the whole kit. We brought our wireless router from home and hooked to their modem; Bingo!! instant Wi-Fi.
