I vote NO. I used to sell RVs and had experience w/ Cruise America units coming into our shop off the road. They always seemed tacky and poorly maintained. As a 25yr RVer I would hate for your son or anyone else in your family to judge RVing by that experince.

I thought I read on this very site, where no one ever pulls anyone's leg, that the island was going to reopen. It was going to feature copious amounts of alchol and a massage parlor. Can't remember who let us know. By the way on Google maps the island is named after one of my grandsons, it's called Riley's Island.

54 - Where are you? (Are you Officer Tootie?)

You have to sign up for Jedi training. The whole day fills up pretty quick, so go to Hollywood early. I can't remember the name of where you sign up. Can someone help?

Once you decide how far you are going the first day, check out wecamphere.com for campground reviews in that area. If there aren't any, when you get home write a review about where you stayed. It will help a nice lady.

Lou, you're in for a real treat. Back when I had a "real job" I worked a the IL Air Guard base in Springfield. Every time a President flew in it was a total goat rope. Like them or not they are the Leader of the Free World and there are a lot of whack jobs out there. Advice; keep the Snarky in check til he leaves. The guys in suits w/ hearing aids have ZERO sense of humor. Good Luck.

Motor home or tow vehicle?

Bruvor!! Sleeveless pink t-shirts... :jumpforjoy

"FIGHTER BOMBERS'...We used these to "greet" returning F-4 fighter pilots on the ramp. 2- 2x4s, Medical tubing (like they wrap around your arm for drawing blood) and a piece of canvas with grommets in the corners, Tubing through the grommets and tie to the 2x4s. Fire from ambush site, run like the wind (TS reference) and practice saying "Who me??". Some of the best fun you can have with your clothes on. :rofl2:

Just shut your eyes and drive real fast. That's what the people that live there do.Awesome update, Andrew. Still in Illinois almost to Chicago. Traffic is starting to get a little heavy. I could really use another update to keep my mind off of it. :)
Actually I would like to hear all about Sea World.

Quick lock the twins in the house.......,,.NOW!!!!!!I've missed this report over the weekend!
I must get my picture taken in the mirror at the candy shop. Probably be the only time in my entire life that my legs look long.
Those Mickey/Minnie heads at $49.95 are a complete rip off! As you know from my reports, Trevor must get a plain head at the Main Street bakery every visit, and they are $12 and change. Two trips ago, they were out of plain ones and he had to settle for chocolate ear dipped ones, and it spoiled it for both of us. We both agreed plain is better. Just because they added a nose and some frosting doesn't make them worth $50!
I guess I have to buy that coffee mug to match my shirt!
I have not eaten at Wolfgangs either, but that meatloaf sandwich looks good, even though I'm not a big meat fan. Well, unless....never mind. I will hold that thought.
It looks like they had a good time without ol Dad. I'm sure they behaved themselves. They have a devious side, but seem to be very good girls.....like me!!

I use half flour and half corn meal. About a table spoon of the mix per chop and an extra table spoon per mator
Season the chops, I use salt and pepper, plus garlic and cayenne sometimes.
I also add pepper, salt, cayenne, paprika and garlic to the flour and corn meal.
Coat the chops and then pan fry, same with maters but season those after frying.
Some people use buttermilk before coating the chops and maters.
What Genia said... no buttermilk. Wait!!! Buttermilk, flour and hot gease, what can be wrong w/ that?

Count me in as a Fried Green Tomatoes fan, the movie not the food. I actually haven't ever tried fried green tomatoes so who knows, I might love those too. :rofl2:
I am also very anti-Atlanta but mostly just the traffic part. I may have to make a side trip to Juliette when I am at Stone Mountain in May!!
The 45th floor? Yikes!! I am not a fan of heights either.
Ok I'm done rambling and waiting for more. :pocorn:
Try fried green tomatoes, they kick **s just like the ZBB. If you need to know how to fry'em just ask it's easy.

Merry Christmas and a Fiendish New Year to all.

Have to agree w/ Monique, without the appetizer and gratuity, it's not worth it. We sometimes have four adults and three children, my accountant (DW) says we still spend less w/o the plan.

I used to sell RVs and I 100% agree with Lou. Damon might look good but they are poorly built in all aspects. Tiffen & Newmar are top shelf.

WalMart/Sam's Club is a part of our trip from Illinois to the Fort. DH found an app for Iphone/Ipad from MalMart that lists places that allow overnight stops. MHs don't put jacks down, TTs & 5rs don't put stabs out.
PLEASE NOTE: DW found the app; DH, that's me, can't even find the right keys on the puter!!

Unless you are going to either eat at the camper or do all quick service, you will probably want to get advance dining reservations ( ADRs). You attempt to walk up at the more popular sit downs they will usually be full or have long wait times. I know kids and a certain Grumpy RVer don't like just standing around at WDW. Do the math on the dining plan, it's a personal call. By the way Welcome and have FUN!!
