  1. Splash mountain, astro orbiter, barnstormer, tiki room, stitch, laugh floor and the country bears in magic kingdom.

Nemo and Everest in animal kingdom.

Viking ride in Epcot. Crosses soaring of the list this last trip.

Fantasmic and Tower of terror in Hollywood studios. I was suppose to have the tower done 3 trips ago but hubs refused to go on and then he talked me into the Aerosmith ride instead which got me pregnant. Next trip I am doing the tower.

  2. I think to get the 5 points, the potential members, have to sign in and go to the introduce thread and tell us about themselfs and who gave them a card. Now that would really be worth 5 points. Anyone can give out a card, but to get us a new member is worth something.

Lorna, take the reading glasses off the top of your head (they are probably under your pretty hat) and read the first post.

You don't get points until they join.  :clint:

  3. Does that sound large?  We're having a tough time finding something under 30' that has a slide and a nice size bunk area.  Maybe 29' but... any suggestions smaller would be welcomed!   :thumbsup1:

Look at Heartland RVs.  They have several FW & TT Bunk House units.  They have made them long enough, there are used units available.

  4. Thank you!  That's VERY helpful.  What about the hitch??  Is that already part of the trailer weight?

Thanks!  Diesel though...?  My DH will drive this truck to work and we'll only use it to tow the TT 3 or 4 times a year (in other words, not a work truck).  Is a diesel still a good idea given the cost?

Probably not.   I would go with a V8.  People Salesmen will say a six will pull, but at the top of the hill you'll be glad you went with the 8.  I have a diesel that gets used as a daily driver and it is EXPENSIVE!  Go with a make you like, four door (for the kids), and matched to your trailer.  If you can swing it a Fifth Wheel (FW) is easier and more comfortable to tow.

  5. does it count that every one of my customers from my jersey site gets a card in with their jersey?  :)

Sorry I missed your question.  It will only be allowed if you take the time to post their names and home area in this thread.

Of course it is understood that "Your Hindlessness" can change the RULES as she sees fit.

By the way Kevin, and his great kids Ryan & Sarah, from Ontario.  Half hour from Detroit.  Today is Ryan's 9th birthday!!  Nother five points, almost there.

  6. Thanks again!  Lots of great information.  I agree....I think it would be pretty tough to beat the Fort.  Wish it was closer but...can't complain too much as it's not too tough from Atlanta.  Thanks YENSIDCAMPER, your post was very helpful.  Appreciate the recommendation Tim on Nick at Peco Campers.  May consider that but will probably used from a private owner to get the best deal.  Money is tight so, we need to search things out carefully.

Hope to meet some of you at the Fort next year!

There is a lot to be said for buying from a trusted dealer.  They have used units, will tell you how to operate things and many times give you some warranty.

Buy private and you are on your own.

  7. Great job so far, Brent.

I am disappointed that we were there at the same time, and didn't meet up.

I did not notice that there were less tables- but we're usually there on weekend nights, so tables have always been hard to come by.  There are a lot of tables around the Italy pavilion.  Here is our buddy SBP and his bride using one:

I noticed a few folks with those plastic trays- but never saw them for sale anywhere.  I believe they have them in the Wonders of Life pavilion, but they must be for sale somewhere around the World Showcase.  They ought to have these out in a more prominent location, as they could probably sell a bunch more.

    TCD

When you cross the bridge into F&W they have them in the bldg. to the right.  The trays have a slot for the stems of your wine/bubbly glasses; kinda cool.
