Very cool! I have made Alex promise to stop in Daytona on our way home from the Fort next month. Mainly he wants to actually hit the BEACH (its been really cold up here, we're having withdrawals) but I want to see some racing stuff. :thumbsup3:

Marty - I believe we have to be out at check out which is 11. We are renting a pop-up from Curt and it looks like it's reserved for the weekend (possibly WWW?) so whenever he shows up and kicks us out...we'll be loading up. :TantrumSmiley: If I miss you we'll make it up sometime. I'm making my bucket list of campgrounds with our new to us pop-up so who knows, we may end up in your neck of the woods sometime. :10220:

We are leaving Friday so i hope to at least see those that are coming in on Thursday. :)

See, I knew the Fiends would have an answer. So the plan is to hop the boat to the Contempory, grab the monorail to the Poly for breakfast. Hit the coffee bar first and then on to Captn Cooks for Tonga Toast! :bellringer:

Hopefully I can score something yummy there that my dang picky kids will eat too. :rofl2:

We've decided to really kick back in 2 weeks and I cancelled the dining ressies I had made for our trip. BUT I really want some Tonga Toast and Kona coffee (Alex is a coffee snob). Don't really want to fuss with a reservation at Kona Cafe but I know I can get Tonga Toast at Captn Cooks. Do they serve Kona also? or just the Nescafe stuff?

I'm reading the list and I really hope to be able to bop over and say hi to everyone before we leave on Friday. :banghead: I was looking into extending our stay until Saturday at least but it looks like Curt has the pop-up booked for someone over the weekend. On the way out the door this morning, Gracie nabbed my phone to check the trip countdown. We are 36 days until our camping trip at the fort. Since I like to be prepared for ANYTHING, lists are my "thing". (I tend to forget stuff if not on a list.)

So All-knowing Fort Fiends...hit me with your bestest, funnest, non-park "stuff" to do while at the Fort. Keep in mind it will be 4 adults, Gracie (7) and Zach (5). We will be taking our bicycles and the kids got gift cards for christmas that are burning holes in their pockets so a trip to DTD is in order. Anything we definitely don't want to miss out on there?

Our next trip will be a no parks trip, so I think I'm most looking forward to meeting some Fiends in person (I hope). And finding all the cool, neat little things that TCD writes about in his TRs. I want to just relax and play with my kids basically, and can't think of a better place to do it than the Fort.

We rented from Donnie for our trip in January! It was wonderful and Donnie was too! :)
