Great TR so far Misty! The autotrain looks so cool! We're only about 14 hours to WDW so I don't know that it would be worth it but what a great experience! :waycool:

Awww! I'm all a mushy now...I need to do more things with the kids individually...*sigh* they grow up so fast!
-
Can't wait to read more about your vacay! :wave1:

OMG! A day late and a dollar short! But at least I'm here! :jumpforjoy Can't wait to read about your "second" saturday. :pc:

Yay! Can't wait to hear the rest!

Cindy - Highjacking your report a sec...
What is the book that the girls are using for autographs? I'm looking for something different than what we had last year.
Oh and your daughters are just beautiful!!
-
Wonderful trip report Dave! A Disney cruise is definitely on our to-do list now. I figure if I start saving after our FW trip in January, we might be able to go before Gracie turns 10! Lol :)

Beautiful! Really looking forward to January. :)

All right, now, take a look at the young guy in the photo above wearing the blue shirt, standing next to the lady with the long, black, uncasual skirt. What is that thing around his waist? It looks like a hoodie, but it's got backpack straps.
Confused.
It IS a baby carrier...looks to be an Ergo. Those things are LIFESAVERS when you have a little one, no matter where you are!! :bellringer: I still wear my little guy on my back when he allows it!
Lovin the TR also!!

OK, how about this:
I buy a big 5th wheel, and tear out the interior and install a bunch of cages.
I will board your dogs or kids all day- same low price.
TCD
SOLD!! Can you pencil me in for January? :rofl2:

Aww! He's so cute!!
Cindy - your girls are adorable! I'm really enjoying your report. We did a YES class in January for Gracie (6) and my neice Taylor (11) at Epcot. It was Synergy in Science. They both really enjoyed it, however, my husband (the chaparone) enjoyed it more! But for the discounts it can't be beat! :thumbsup2:

First trip was January 2012! We have only been camping since Zach was a baby so it didn't take much to talk Alex (Alerope) into camping at Disney instead of squishing into a motel room. We fell in love with the Fort. Unfortunately, no other place we camp measures up. We're coming back MLK week 2013. Parks or no parks, we're headed to the Fort! :mh1:

Have fun!! :)
Take lots of pictures of CBR...I'd love to stay there sometime. (Just Alex and I of course)
-
What a great afternoon! *Sigh* I'm so jealous!
-
Oh fun!! I want a cruise, no matter where! Alex wants to sail out of Baltimore (non DCL) but I would LOVE to go to NYC and sail! Two trips for the price of one! (kinda)
-
Woo hoo!! Great TR so far!! Can't wait to read more. :)

We did the YES program in January for my DD6 and my DN11. I am hoping to be able to snag a class that both Gracie and Zach can particpate in for January 2013. I'm basically stalking the website now! :hah: If my memory serves me correctly I bought tickets last year around the end of September for our classes.

I did Judy. Thanks!
(I thought i emailed you back...sorry) :)
-
Yay!! The looks on your girls' faces...I looked exactly like that in January! LOL! I was worse than the kids!
Can't wait to read more about your trip.

I worked for CCBCC (aka "Consolidated") in Charlotte, NC, which is also where their headquarters are.
I believe the one in Jacksonville is a CCE bottler (aka "Enterprises") - the big one based in Atlanta. Different franchises. I'm not even sure if their is a bottling plant anymore, may just be distribution. There is a big Pepsi plant in town, and a small copacker that I worked for before Bacardi who does 7 Up/Canada Dry and Snapple.
I do still have one or two connections at Bacardi, but the place has changed a LOT since I was there.
What do you do for Coke?
CCE (Enterprises) is no more as of the year before last...Everyone is Coca-Cola Refreshments, CCE and CCNA (Coke North America) combined and now we have a huge mess! LOL :gaah:
Officially my title is Inventory Analyst...I work in the Cooler Services Dept. Unofficially, I do everything except install fountain equipment and deliver coolers on a daily basis (I have done it though). I wasn't aware there was still a privately owned bottler on the east coast. Cool! My husband and I dream of how nice it would be to move to the Jacksonville area, we have family there already and its so much cheaper to live than up here! However, I would probably have to go back into sales to transfer and Alex manages a close-out/bargain store, Ollie's Bargain Outlet, and they haven't started branching out that far south yet. *Sigh* Its nice to dream about though. LOL Of course being closer to the Fort is a huge plus!! :coonskincap:

Carol - I am sooo jealous!!
Can't wait to read about the rest of your weekend!
-
Oooo! This is definitely on my list! Good to know there is a nice friendly campground in the area. :camp1:
-
Yes, it was a cool job in terms of the perks and fun parties. But it was very stressful, hard work too. Funny thing is, when we moved to Charlotte and I left Bacardi, I went to work for Coca Cola. My friends thought it was funny since they kind of go together.

Do you still work for CCR in Jacksonville? Are they hiring? LOL
I work for Coca-Cola here in Maryland. 13 years...and lots of grey hairs! :banghead:

WOW! I opened this thread thinking I would have another "near by" campground to go to for a weekend...lol! :rofl2: I think I'll save my pennies and go to the beach instead. :wave1:
Thank you!!
Western Caribbean Cruise...
in Cruises
Posted
in October (first or second week). Would you do it? What about hurricanes? :walk-plank-smiley:
Alex & I have been debating a trip for our 10 year anniversary (10/3/14)...either a somewhat nice trip for just us or an awesome trip for all 4 of us. And last night he suggested a Disney Cruise! (yes i think talking about all the awesome TRs has worked!) We want to do a whole week, so it would either be an Eastern Caribbean or Western Caribbean on the Fantasy! But I got thinking about the timing...would you cruise in October?
