Enough already!
As any fireman will tell you, it's important to keep fuego in your life.

Allow me to threadjack and say I am TOTALLY anti- using an ipad to take photos/video/what have you. It's distracting, rude, and blocks the view of whoever is behind you. I had to deal with several of those schmucks at my kids' winter concerts this year and I can tell you they pissed off pretty much everyone behind them.

:jumpforjoy
Yes, I have to say I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
-
You would never hear a bunch of the guys carrying on like this if they were planning a camping trip together...
Right! Now my wife wants to loop over to meet everyone, so I guess we'll be seeing you all at some point!

Sounds like a good plan to me.
BOG is my new favorite lunch place in all of WDW.
We hope to try it next month. Any idea how bad the lines are during the regular lunch hours? Or do they do a decent job of keeping people moving through there?

Just booked with Kenny for our February trip. He's a pleasure to deal with as always!
-
It was just brought to my attention that our trip in February will overlap with the WWW. oh, good lord. I'm afraid.

If you stop and take a look around, you will see that Disney is a magnet for freaks.
Does that mean we'll see a new 'People of Disney' web site, much like the 'People of Walmart' site?

Basically the discussion about DVC was that the Grand Floridian renovation should be completed in the next 12-18 months and that the Poly was rumoured to be the next DVC property developed. From what I understand there are areas of the Poly that need some serious overhaul, so it would make sense to incorporate DVC elements into any major renovation or expansion of that resort. The flip side of the discussion was that it would be another monorail resort under construction after GF and BLT at the Contemporary, so who knows. It's just speculation.
And hey, I said take it with a grain of salt. I guess with these guys if you throw enough darts at something you're bound to have one stick once in a while.

With regards to the DVC project, according to Jim Hill and Len Testa's Unofficial Guide podcast any development on the FW property is 5-10 years off. Latest information points to finishing the Grand Floridian project and then a DVC at the Poly.
I refer to this podcast, which also has some interesting info about the history of the fort:

The DVC discussion starts about 30 minutes into the podcast. Take it with a grain of salt, I guess.

Darn. I just looked out my window towards WDW and i can see the cranes from my house. Walt would not approve.
Just kidding about both things. And Walt probably would approve, because I would be thinking about ways to get down there and remove the cranes.

What geese?
Here in New England it's very common for towns to use dogs to chase Canadian geese off the grass in parks or athletic fields. They make a huge mess and destroy the fields. I've never seen any at the Fort, but it doesn't mean they aren't around.
-
Wondering if that's one of the dogs that chase the geese away. Could be totally wrong.

I'm in. 2nd page are the first losers I suppose. LOL

Great fireworks photos! One of my friends was there on the 16th and had a great time at the Halloween party. She even took the time to run over to the Fort and pick me up a FW t-shirt, so it must have been a good trip.

I always thought the only likeness they couldn't use was Amy Adams' from Enchanted, for obvious reasons. I guess they couldn't negotiate a deal, but they have action figures of just about every other person on the planet so it must have been poorly thought out.
I would buy a TCD action figure, though (complete with removable flip-flop bottle opener, automatic camera and kung-fu pixie dust action).

Most gelato places (good ones, anyway) usually have Hazelnut (and probably pistachio) as one of their standard flavors.
If you ever have the opportunity to find and try this, i highly recommend it.
Gelato, by the way, is Italian for 'very rich and expensive ice cream', which I guess is appropriate to mention today in honor of Christopher Columbus.

or maybe he was about to put her on his shoulder when he caught a whiff of her butt
Yeah, one time I caught the whiff too late... :banghead:

Well, that's a bummer about your trollcut. My son had a haircut there a few years back and they did a great job. We really enjoyed the barbershop experience.

Looks great, Norm. Good job so far!

I got my moonshine info from the hillbilly site that list Bobby as its founder.
Tickle!
