OK quiz time, some easy, some a little harder but being Fiends I am sure it will be easy, I will post 5 now and 5 after the first 5 are answered and so on. I don't know how many I will come up with ( I have 20 so far)so have some fun.
I am going with questions that I don't think are common knowledge like, What is Walt's wife's name, we all should know that Mrs. Disney's name was Lillian. The questions are based on the program so they tend to start with where the program started.
1. How many siblings did Walt have?
3 older brothers - roy, ray and one other - and a younger sister, ruth.
2. What kind of factory did Elias Disney buy into?
o-zell jelly factory
3. Where were Walt's first cartoons published?
Kansas City
4. What did Walt have a lifelong addiction to?
Cigarettes
5. What was the name of the girl who played Alice in the Alice series?
Virginia Smith

I'm a big fan of Tom Sawyer Island when the kids need a break.
Also, we like the Carousel of Progress on a hot day.

The Kim Possible thing was a lot of fun. All of our kids liked it.
The KidCot projects are always a big hit, from the 4 year old up to the 11 year old. If you ask nicely, the CM will often write your name in their native language.

Damn, i thought this was a thread about drinking beers around the world showcase. Shows you where my mind is at the moment.

We thought this was a great deal. We used leftover counter service meals from the dining plan to stock up on sandwiches for the car ride home (18 hours straight!). They kept well in the cooler and were devoured by everyone!

I agree with your comments about Jiko, but i give Boma the edge just slightly as the buffet at Boma lets you try a wider variety of indigenous food. Loved the flatbread and the desserts!

Homemade mac and cheese, with leftover penne pasta and cabot's hunters' extra sharp cheddar. Yum.

Made this yesterday. Even better today...
Black Bean Chili
1/2 cup sherry or red wine [DON"T use Kungaloosh!!]
2 tbs olive oil
4 cups chopped white onion
1 cup diced carrot
1 cup diced celery
2 cups diced red pepper
*optional* 2 chopped jalapenos
2 tbs minced garlic
8 cups black beans, cooked [4 cans]
4 cups vegetable broth / stock [2 cans]
2 cups chopped tomatoes [1 can diced]
8 tsp chili powder
4 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp oregano
4 tbs honey
4 tbs tomato paste
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
saute onion in sherry and olive oil until translucent.
add carrots, celery and peppers; saute for another 5 minutes or until softened.
add garlic, saute another minute.
add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for at least an hour. add the cilantro at some point in the last hour so it adds flavor but doesn't totally turn to mush.
serve with sour cream, shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos and more chopped onions if so desired].
*i usually don't add the jalapenos in and throw them on top of the chili so the kids can eat it.
ingredient and spice amounts are approximate. i usually wing it and adjust the flavor accordingly during cooking. this is a great and flavorful chili.
