I had a feeling that this was coming, but I am still disappointed. But the good news is hopefully the next time we will see you it will be the 3 of you. I feel we all are Aunts and Uncles to this little one, since in a way we were all there, well not right there, but you know what I mean. Please take care of yourself and you will really be missed.

I am putting this on the public forum, because maybe some of the lurkers out there will realize how great Fiends are and come out of hiding and meet some of us.
As you all know Jason is there for a few days, Carol loaned him her tenting equipment, I had agreed to go up tomorrow and pick it up from him, because I am going to see Carol on WWW. Well Rich and I still haven't gotten over The Crud from New Years yet.
So I called on another Fiend to help me out bord1niowa....Curt, I asked him to do a really big favor for me (I also thought he was still at the Fort, but he had left already). I explained what Rich and I were supposed to do on Sunday and asked if he could pick up the equipment from Jason for us. There wasn't even a stop and he just said we will work it out.
I can't tell you how much that helps us.
I thank my lucky stars every day that there are Fiends out there, I know I can't count on. I just hope I am as good a Fiend to them if they need my help.

Who is coming? Rich and I are going on the 19th for sure. Anyone who wants to meet up. We live about 20 minuets south of there and will have dinner at our house after on the 19th. If you need a place to stay we have places for a couple of you. I have the MH, a guest bedroom in my house and My Mom's place about 2 blocks from our house. So just let me know, would love to have a big Fiend Gathering. We had a great time last year. And thou I tried to kill a fellow fiend last year, I will promise I won't ask anyone to plug in any lights this year LOL

I love your Epcot day and pictures of the Girls all of them are the sweetest girls, always seen happy and glad to see everyone.
But you forgot one important part of your day Lorna's greeting in her PJ's at the bus stop - I guess my PJ's just don't impress everyone.
We were on site 555 and I spoted all of them waiting for the bus, so I ran over and not only got Anna Hugs and Kisses, but got them from all the girls and Dave, made my day.

I love making our own tutus, who wants to buy the tule (not sure if that's how you spell it) I have a small sewing machine in my motorhome, drinking sewing (with a machine) this is going to be like the apron I made in 8th grade it was attached to my skirt, on WW will know what the tutu's get attached to

What a great week, so happy to meet new Fiends. I want to thank Missy and TJ, I had invited eveyrone to my site for the GG but it was to narrow. They took over for me, Missy cooked all week for us. I know that nothing has been posted about a GG, so here it is - We were thinking about having a pot luck at my site (which should be in the 900 loop, but you never know) on Tues the 30th- Everyone is invited just take your leftovers home when you leave. Bring chairs because my MH can't fit enough for 100 - I think that is how many we had at my site 2 years ago - lets see if we can top that - should be around 6pm, but if you know Lorna and Rich - seems sometimes we are sleeping when everyone shows up LOL just make yourself comfortable. If anyone has extra table we can always use them. Can't wait to meet the Fiends we haven't met and spend time with the ones we have met. Also please feel fee to stop by anytime, we love having Fiends around. I will try to post my site # when we check in on Thursday. I will be a little out of it, since I am moving tomorrow, and have to be able to find everything that we are taking with us.

Shawndb, I was one of the posters that had questions about your post. Being a small business myself (in a very similar business), I know how something like this can effect someones business. People don't ask facts, they just read the bad stuff and assume. If something good is written about a business, it doesn't have 1/2 the impact on business as something bad being written. This will come up over and over again on the internet in searches. We don't want to you to leave, but you have to see our take on it when you posted. The written word is very hard to take back.
Thank you for saying you are sorry, but as you can see we all protect each other, so if someone dosen't look like they are on the up and up, we start asking questions.

I am sitting hear LMAO, because when you think about it, people think we are all NUTS. I said it before and I will say it again. There isn't anyone who I have met from this board that when meeting in person for the 1st time,that I haven't felt like I knew them my whole life (and that's a longgggggg time). It hit home most at Stone Mtn. we pulled in really early and were waiting to see if Kim and H were up and about, when I saw them moving around outside I went over said hi to Kim, we hugged (we do that a lot too) and looked at her and said I know this is the 1st time me are meeting, but I feel like this isn't the 1st time meeting. There is a comfortable feeling with everyone, from here. Last year being my 1st WWW, I was a little nervous, since there were a few women that I had talked to for years on line, but never had met, we hugged each other, and just felt at home with each other right away.
You know when you have been friends with someone for many years and then don't see them for years at a time, then when you get together, you start out where you left off. That's how I feel when I meet up with fiends, don't know if I am sounding really nutty, or if you understand what I mean!!!!

I have a mission, I am printing that picture of Anna, and putting on my wall, she has such a twinkle in her eye, that she can make any bad day brighten up!!
It's great that the little Fiends get along as well as the big Fiends.

Rita I am blushing thanks for all the compliments. But around here I don't think anything is one fiends or that it wouldn't have been the same without one of us there. We all make it what it is, weather it be a thread or a GG or a mini GG or WWW. We all get along so well that we bring out the best in each other, so along with that comes the humor, laughing, eating and just all around FUN.
And to anyone who hasn't met anyone of the fiends in person yet, have no fear, I read on one post that we have know each other so long. Well this is the first time I had met Karla and Kelly in person (other than a quick passing one Halloween) and let me tell you everytime I met someone from this group for the first time, it is no different than seeing my girlfriends of 15 years. It is like we have know each other our whole life and there is no feeling like the first time you are meeting someone. There is something about this group of fiends that I don't think is normal (well in more ways than one LOL). I don't think there are many forums on the web that have met each other, spend time with each other, look to go out of their way to spend time with each other like this group.
I am happy and feel very lucky to be part of this group I call FIENDS. :heart:

Great TR, glad you enjoyed tent camping. To bad about you friends. I agree with Dave, we love to go with the fiends, we all do what we want, when we want, no presure at all. No one puts demands on each other and we have a great time together. I am assuming you live not to far from the fort, you should come join us on one of the fiends Grand Gathering.
