but I thought it was my place? If you show up Marilyn and there are no seats available, I will gladly give up my seat to a fiend with more FF seniority. :doublebeer: :doublebeer: :doublebeer: :doublebeer:

$25 for the family I could handle.

Thanks TCD! I will definitely check that link out. I don't know how Kelly isn't on the hot seat though. He is the ND coach and hasn't won anything.....and fair or unfair the student volunteer who died at practice was on his watch. The way he handled that situation, the way he publically blamed players (and exonerated his recruits) that were recruited under Weis for losses, and the way he acts on national television do not sit well with the faithful...including the ones who write the big checks. He has won everywhere he has been before now, so I don't put it past him to do the same at ND. The problem might be that if he doesn't do it quickly, he will be out the door before he can reach the potential. Florida is now a program (post Spurrier and Meyer) where mediocrity will not be accepted and that is why IMO Muschamp is on the hot seat. Florida does not rebuild, they reload....much like Bama and LSU. Curiosity got the better of me and I read the link provided by TCD at this point in my post.....interesting list. Here are a couple disagreements that jumped out right away: Kirk Ferentz (Iowa) and Pat Fitzgerald (Northwestern) win more games with very minimal talent than anybody so if their is any truth that they are even close to the hotseat, that would just be bad form. They aren't going to play, coach, or recruit any better with anyone else.

me too. we stayed on 900 loop several times when i was a kid.

Any excuse to sit on the porch at the Meadows or the tavern is a good excuse!

Dabo definitely on the hot seat. I think Brian Kelly and Muschamp's seat will get hotter as the season transpires as well. Neither of them have proven themselves worthy of the jobs they are occupying thus far. I hope they both succeed by I somehow doubt it.

dagnabit... I was hoping to hang onto my AP money a little longer. Oh well...
I know what you mean. I bought mine after the Disneyland announcement last week.

Another great update. Can't wait to see more!

Being from Big Ten country, I have to say that I always have looked at Georgia as being one of the perennially over-rated teams too....see my post above and you will know I am quite fair with my assessment of my favorite teams too. LSU, Bama, Auburn, and Florida are the teams that I would believe are consistently superior to the top big ten teams during the past decade or so.

Great update! I loved the train photos.

Jello shots are one of those things that get you in trouble quick....but you don't know it until a bit later. No bikes is a stupid rule....sign or no sign. Another great update.

Have you seen those at any of the other attractions, especially any that weren't part of the test? I am wondering if they are left over from the test or if they are actually getting ready to roll out the new program.

I love that trail too! Looks like everyone had a relaxing day and some good grub!

The elephant thing is a bit puzzling.

One thing with college is that the players are basically kids still. I don't blame them for 99.9 % of what happens. It is the full fledged adults like coaches, agents, over-zealous boosters, and the NCAA themselves that taint the game. The kids in most incidents, including Penn State, did nothing wrong....therefore I think you are perfectly right for standing by your favorite team.

Those lamps are awesome. I would love to make one but I dont think we would have room to pack it. :-[

Your NUTS!!!!
Those were the glory years!!! Fortunately, I got to see both Maddux and Smoltzy pitch in person, and Chipper was smokin back then!!!
Yep, but unfortunately, their playground was torn down and turned into a parking lot, now all they have is this Turner place....... (just kidding, Turner Field is a beautiful ballpark. Fulton County had seen better days.)
Grew up a huge Braves fan, watching them several times a week on WTBS....starting back when they had the horrible teams in the baby blue uniforms and Dale Murphy was pretty much the only good player on America's Team!

another great update!.....ice cream sounds good....i think i will do that after little league tonight

You can almost see Chipper, Maddux, and Smoltzy's playground from up there. Go Braves!
