I never thought to look on Amazon.  I usually search for "discount xxxxxxxx" and compare sites plus shipping.  I'm a little leery tho of using Amazon due to not really knowing where things come from - or how they are stored - at times.  I will check it out tho next time we need heartworm meds.

I use Iverhart Max - same stuff but cheaper, and I always order online instead of paying the high vet prices!  Most online sites will contact your vet for you for a prescription once you've placed the order even.

I only use a topical flea/tick treatment a couple times a year - I don't like continuously dosing if you don't need to.  I'm more concerned about ticks than the fleas, and fortunately my old girl has gotten to be quite the house dweller.

I finally convinced hubby last fall to get one of the metal eggs at Lowes - on sale and with our military discount, the price was about a third of one of the ceramic versions.  So far we love it - so much in fact we gave the gas grill to our son last week!

I didn't take any pics (shame on me, I know) but we did a Prime Rib on Saturday.  Started out at 450, then took the grill temp down to about 350 to cook.  I'm not really a prime rib fan, but I must admit it was the best I've ever tasted.  Threw together a rub with olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary and some Brick Oven rub.  Took about 2 hours to cook.

We've got an 8-lb butt in the freezer that's our next big project.  Just need a weekend when we can get together with the kids to help eat it.

What a cutie!  Congrats.  He looks very happy to have a great home!

I still think those are better than the magic bands!  I hate planning my day 60 days out, and then I have nothing for the scrapbook!

I know that it seems dumb to stand in line to avoid standing in line, but it was worth it.  By 9:12, I had these in hand:

 

 

 

 

 

I think those are some pretty amazing photos!  Every time I tried to photograph the Spectromagic parade, they came out blurry!

I took a lot of photos of the parade, but I think you need to be a professional to get photos that do it justice.

I seriously could sit for hours and watch the lighting on the castle! 

The actual lighting was still breathtaking, as it always has been, even before Anna and Elsa crashed the party:

Sounds to me like they are 'encouraging' guests to buy a dining plan rather than eating in the cabin. 

I think taking the pantry away was a mistake.

Looks like they moved the range, dishwasher, and microwave around, and if they cut back to 2 burners on the range that could be a problem.

I would love a year around Christmas theme park.

I like that idea... except for the huge premium thing

If they just wanted people to enjoy them and not make $ because they are in a park, they could decorate Disney Springs, or even the Sports Complex.

 

Now if they wanted to make $$, they should clean up Discovery Island, set them up there, charge a huge premium, and leave them going year round.

I've made it many times - it is indeed very easy!

I just got a recipe for making Shoo Fly Pie. I havent tried it yet but looks simple enough. 

 

Maybe they can wrap them all around the hat??

I'll miss the lights too, but I can't wait to see the new either!

I'm actually not too disappointed. Losing the lights that keeps that part of the park "under construction" at least 5 months out of the year versus getting two new awesome lands!!  I'm all for it!!

I'm sneaking in before Jason and Rennie get there.

You know your Mom is gonna smack me for not going in October now!  But this way, it's only half price as DD pays her own way :)

Well, we've decided on a very impromptu trip in December to see these one more time... Thanks to military discounts it's rather affordable for a 4-night stay :).  And Jason's help of course.  We *briefly* discussed the tent in a suitcase thing, but quickly came to our senses and booked at Pop Century for the first time ever in a value.  Daughter and I are going.
