I would rather have Indiana Jones land then Star wars.
I say combine the two and rename it Harrison Ford land. I'd be first in line for that !

For $55pp we can murder a fairly big platter of fabulous sushi at CG.
Or one could get 2 GAGs (16 pieces of chicken!) per person !
We ate lunch at BOG because I wanted to see inside and I enjoyed the meal (it was more than enough food). I'd do this for dinner if someone else was paying.

Mine didn't come with one, but I got my IP around 5 years ago so maybe they didn't include then?
I got my on Amazon about a year and a half ago. It came with: "Accessories include, stainless steel steam rack with handles, rice paddle, soup spoon, measuring cup, condensation collector and recipe booklet."

Did you buy the trivet separately? I don't remember getting one...
What I'm calling the trivet, you may call the metal steaming rack that I think comes with all Instant Pots. I like fancy words

Cup of water. Pound of frozen ground beef on the trivet. 20 minutes then quick release. Ground beef for tacos, spaghetti sauce, whatever. I usually end up needing to pick up someone from rehearsal or practice when I'm in the middle of cooking ground beef in the skillet so this is a perfect solution for me.

I like the size of the Wonder / number of people it holds. My only comparison is the Dream and when we cruised on the Dream it was early December and not at capacity so probably the same number of people as our Wonder cruise which was Christmas week at capacity. Personally I don't think I'd like a bigger ship.

We always buy refillable mugs. And bring them to the parks. And leave the parks at least once (or during a park hop) for a quick service meal or snack and refill the mug.

Yes but realistically unless you're ok with lugging all your food and drink around all day, you're paying the premium for the convenience. If I want pork rinds I'm not leaving the park to go buy a cheaper bag at Publix.
That's what I mean. Why single out the pork rinds with this as a negative when it applies to practically everything?
My personal opinion is that one would have to pay me a large sum to eat them, but I live with people who would definitely justify spending the extra money to eat pork rinds in the park.

Even if you enjoy such things, there is no way you can justify $[fill in Disney amount here] for a serving size that is one fourth of a bag that would cost roughly the same price at a store.
Doesn't this apply to pretty much any food or drink item at WDW? A Coke for $4+ etc. ?

You had leftovers with a 17 year old! Was he sick?
Well, he'd already had 5 pieces, plus a sandwich. Although after 2 hours of tennis practice, I guess that's really not a lot.

The woman is a photographer and performance artist named Ventiko. Not saying she doesn't have stress and anxiety that's relieved by her peacock. Just saying I can see why she might (I Googled her and found her website. You may or may not want to.)

LOL. I brought home pizza tonight for the first time in a long time (I've been trying to cook more). My 17 yr old just informed me he's having the leftovers for breakfast. I said "pizza's a breakfast food?" and he said "pizza's an anytime food."

That was my thought too. Let's go over to Cinnabon and ride some rides.

That does sound interesting. It has good reviews on Amazon too. I'll have to see if my library has it. Sort of like a Hidden Figures for Disney animation.

At least the instapot didn’t kill Jack ?
I can't believe that crock pot (Crock-Pot company claims that was a generic one) lasted 18++ years, especially with a faulty switch. Mine died after about 10.

I would bet that a one way daily rental of a minivan from Hertz or one if the other on- site companies from WDW to drop off at MCO would cost less than $150.

And if you rent a red one they will throw in a bag of magnetic white dots for an extra $20.

- Price: $150
- Number of guests: Each vehicle can carry up to six guests and up to three car seats for those under the age of 6
I assume this is for ride not per guest ? And if you only have 3 people will they add 3 more to your van? Also, can one use car seats on Magical Express? If not I wonder if that in part explains offering this.

Enjoying your report. And your Disney bounding outfits. You are so lucky to have a daughter who shares your love of Disney.

"Proof of Florida residency is required. "
Show proof to buy or to use? Is this similar to the Canadian offer where you get a certificate and then show it at the gate with ID to exchange for actual ticket?

Yes there is a ton to do and ride for those that don't ride coasters. Not all the rides are E ticket....or DD as the case may be.
Admit it. You were just waiting for someone to ask that question.

I can't believe you didn't mention any encounter with Miss Lillian, the Chicken Lady. We always hit her buffet.
And a tip for people considering a Dollywood trip -- if one person in your family gets an annual gold pass you get free parking and 10% off dining.
Two of my favorite regular groups there are The Kingdom Heirs (https://www.kingdomheirs.com/news) and the Smoky Mountain String Band (https://www.jerrybutleronline.com/smoky-mountain-string-band).

Years ago we went last week in August (stayed in Pop Century not the Fort) and the heat and humidity was offset by the fact that it wasn't very crowded. That may not be the case anymore. Also hopefully they still have the policy of you can ask for free cups of ice water at any refreshment place. We did that a good bit.

But those dogs are adorable. And apparently their humans are on the exploit your dogs on social media bandwagon. I hate that my dog is such an uncooperative little stinker. He's costing me big bucks.

Yup. As long as I could get fresh towels from somewhere. I've found with 5 family members that hotels NEVER put more than 4 sets of towels in the room and we always have to go to the front desk or call to get additional towels anyway. At WDW we basically only shower and sleep in the room so we have little time to mess it up and we end up spending time moving all our stuff in the morning so the person can clean anyway.
Google Maps Street View of Disney
in WDW and Disney Park Discussions

I use Google Maps street view to "go" a lot of places. I find it entertaining and stress relieving -- a brief mental vacation. I recently "went" to seaside areas of England that I was reading about in a novel. I also occasionally go back and "visit" my childhood home and town, which is many hundreds of miles away from where I live now, although that usually makes me a little weepy. But overall one of the positive uses of the internet! I can't wait to "visit" the newer areas of WDW.
