My attemp at "defective" art. Was messing around with a new phone app.
Need to find a good M&M or 18 one, I think.

I saw somewhere today, that they may swap the Rolex and SB next year. That way there wouldn't be a week break within Speed Weeks.
Don't know how that would fly with the NFL. Unless they push the 500 another week, but that would run into spring break. Rednecks, College Kids and then Bikers......
Called the KOA today thinking about next year, was told they will probably change to a 3 day min. next year. They also have some sites off turn 4 with electricity and water only. But you get a pump out "free" after the 2nd night. ONLY $150/night. Heck at that rate, I might get two.
How did the vegies look at the Flea Market?
We try to hit there our first full day to load up for grilling. But take filler frozen vegies if we need them.

Might? No worries, I'll have some PBR left.
Trevor is brain washed, didn't you see him sporting that expensive Team Chevy Tshirt?
Nate, Nice Fine Young Man, he pulls for Kyle.....Of course.
Jordan? Probably Danica to get her digits.

Dude Sunday sucked Donkey Balls. Having to leave and go back to the "real" world! So happy you swung by before we left!!!

Black Bean and Corn with Chicken
3 chicken breasts cut in strips
Can of Black Beans
Can of Corn (I used the equivalent measurement of frozen)
Can of Tomatoes (I used fire roasted)
Can of Tomato Paste (6oz)
Bell Peppers, Onion and/or hot peppers to your taste (Once again used frozen Bell Peppers and hot peppers from our garden)
Spices to taste (Original recipe used taco seasoning) (I used cumin, cayenne, ancho, hot pepper flakes, garlic powder)
I cup of chicken broth (used low sodium)
Threw into crock pot, on low for 6 hours ( I did start at high for the first hour since chicken was somewhat frozen) and let it be. I stirred occasionally, but probably not necessary.
Ate with tortillia chips and cheese. Made 8 servings for us. So 6 frozen meals. Going to try over some brown rice later this week.
The original recipe did not call for the chicken broth, so if you omit, should be thicker and probably great for a borrito or chip dip.

No, the sites are too small for two campers. Get off your cheap butt and pay for two sites!
Hmmmph, you sound like my MOM! Then again...........one day, one day :clint:

quick link to something similar that we use:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Igloo-Realtree-Backpack-Cooler/16606380
Igloo makes non camo colors.
We use for mostly races, but used in September for the parks. We enjoyed a couple of bottles of water, and our rain jackets at the bottom of the pack. Has nice side pockets to hold the small things.
We also have a carabener (sp?) on the handle to clip bags too.
The only draw back to this cooler we have found, is it does not breath. So the person carrying it, will experience a sweaty back. However, we didn't have that problem since it was on and off for rides and water consumption.

Sorry for not letting you know! I see a gathering coming into play for 2014.....
Slacker! 2014....oh yeah!
The love of exercise and Nascar is what prompted me to do the 5K.
:jumpforjoy
It was awesome being on the track and seeing and touching things that you normally only see on TV.
What channels are you talking about........ :batman:
Believe it or not, there was not one alcoholic beverage in the RV for this trip! (Ok, I made up for that on Saturday night)
:rofl3:
Hang tight, Genia may have a few more questions! :clint:
See above
I don't mind, she's a racer too and I would HIGHLY recommend the KOA to any fan who needed to be near the track.
geee, OK :whew:
I got a little work to do, then I promise to carry on.
Small person, little work. go figure

I was talking with my cool cuz last night about this. He has talked about maybe this or the 500.
He has a pop up, do you think the KOA would allow his PU and my Tiny RV on the same site?
-
Do we REALLY Need a SuperBowl? I mean if we skip over it, close to the Shootout......Just Sayin..
-
Oops forgot a question:
Cable TV?
Was there any wind break? I.e. open like a cow pasture or some trees to tamper down the wind?
-
Is there a dog park at the KOA or aournd?
Do they allow controlled fires?
Would you be comfortable with the scooters back and forth to the track from there?
Did they build a sidewalk all the way to the wing house on THAT side?
If I remember correctly McD's is a game of frogger away, any convience stores on the KOA side of the Hwy?
How much for the races? Is there a min pace required? What did you think of the surface?
Did you wave at my seats on the super speed stretch? Also known as Daytona Francesse for more money for the back stretch since we call it Super Speed stretch....

Since the cow pasture is 40/night, 45/night with electricity and water.AWESOME!
100/night with 5 night min.......@#$% NO!!!!!!! That's 50/night difference for beer..........see what I did there. I thnk :clint:
And for everyone just dying to know where my cow pasture is, the first pic of the track and hang a right. Right beside the dog racies.
And depending on how your TR is, I may or may not tell you that Tony whined asked about ya'll and the Rolex a couple of times this week. :batman:
Damn you for getting him to talk. :banghead:

Finally caught up....whew, I'm tired.
Awesome trip, and it's cool the girls are old enough to be dependent and go there way to do things. Awesome!
So how is that Weber? :rofl2:
-
Happy B-Day Bexter!!!!!!!
-
Once again Jason, AWESOME job on the 5K.
Maybe I've become use to the chaos of the Cooper River Bridge 10K having close to 50K people. So 10K dosen't sound bad for the 5K.
And it was awesome you were there for the family and friends!
-
Did somebody say Guiness?
Guiness, Geniaus, close enough.
-
More please.
:jumpforjoy
-
Awesome TR as ususal!!!!
Safe travels this week-end!
-
Oh HELL yeah! :clint:
-
Hope you'll share your transportation thoughts to/from the race. Tony was talking about doing one down there late this year or next year, but I am hesitant with transportation since we won't have a vehicle of our own.
TIA

Cool pics!!!!!!!
So do you get kicked out of the infield after the autograph session? Or can you go back and forth to the fanzone?
Yea, I can see the Rolex being different than NASCAR. But it is something I wouldn't mind going to see.
Audi did kick some GT arse after all.
