  1. If the adults need a break at DTD, there's a good margarita bar in the Marketplace area over near Captain Jack's. It's down a few steps on the dock area near the boats. The drinks aren't cheap, but they also don't skimp and there are tables/chairs down there to relax for a bit.

Mo (or others that admit they drink),

How do you compare the DTD margaritas near Cpt Jack's to the Mexico stand in Epcot? Have you ever had one at Crocket's to compare?

I am planning an extensive test next week for non park beverages, so suggestions are welcome.

I know I enjoyed the Fuego grapefruit margarita in September.

  2. Oh and if it's not busy (shouldn't be next week) you can usually go up to the California Grill and sit in their comfy chairs in the lounge. Plan around MK fireworks time and you'll have an awesome view from the observation deck. You can also order off the full CG menu.

Mo, Isn't California Grill closed for refurb? Or did I make that up in my own mind?

But I agree, the fireworks up there are awesome! We've done a couple of times while enjoying sushi.

  3. Genia, where's the drink list??

Oh I think the Fiends definitely need to come up with the "adult beverage" version of this list!!

G was asked to come up with a beer list almost three hours ago....and we are still waiting.

    WTF?

Come on, lady - get on it!!

Oh and if you need volunteers to do field research... :wave1:

    My reputation preceeds me? :rofl3:

    Yes, Yes we do! :clint:

I shall start compiling my list shortly. :whew:

Give me a darn sec, I have to work! And since I will be down there next week, I'll take one for the team and do some "experiminting". :batman:

    Burp :clint:

  4. MD, you guys doing piano bob tonight?

    Brandy,

MD is too busy flashing his beer collection on site 2065. He asked for me to let you know where he is and that YES they are. He is waiting on a cart, so you should head over that way if you want.

    Sincerely,

MD's sober secreatary that is being texted beer pics!!!! is that "bexted"?

  5. While working in DC, I looked into it and the cost of the trip at that time was the same amount I would have incurred driving. Plus with the train leaving at 4PM, you would get out of DC and south MUCH quicker than driving.

But after my experience with the regular Amtrack service I decided against it. But it sounds like this would be better.

    Thaks for the info!
