Word has come today from Shawn at Golf Cart Enterprises that Disney will no longer be allowing them to deliver carts to the overflow lot. They are trying to work something out with Disney but it isn't looking good. GCE does have trailers available for rent to go pick up your cart yourself and I will post more info here on that once I have it. As of Dec

  4. We stayed at port orleans riverside and loved it. Auntie, i wouldn't have stayed in that room either...nasty.
  5. My girls love the scavenger hunts and other planned activities from the meadows pool staff.
  6. I agree with Dave, this depends on the childs maturity and swimming abilities. Also, I think they should always no matter the age go in twos. Never alone.
  7. I will say their onion rolls were the bomb.
  8. Epcot - This was probably the most crowded park we saw all week. Our older girls spent the entire day doing the Kim Possible Missions around the world. I spent the day drinking Hot Chocolate to try and stay warm.....another cold day in florida. After we finished epcot we hopped a monarail over to the grand floridian for a peek of the gingerbread house. Laura of course had to purchase a solid chocolate mickey head. The next morning we spent the day just hanging around the fort, our favorite thing to do. After that it was off to the Yachtsmens Steakhouse for DD15's birthday dinner. A bi
  9. Charlotte KOA....we pulled in and right back out. It wasn't just our decision either we were with another famly who also had their camper. Let's put it this way our friend James' words "id rather not sleep with my pistol to feel safe tonight". We headed on up the mtn towards home.
  10. BRAVO BRAVO! Best trip report ever!
  11. It was definately worth the cold and i will add my cookies on the recipe thread. Thanks for reading!
  12. My girls did the Kim Possible thing for hours, we stuck with them the first couple of times and then We decide to move along and explore adult thing while they worked their way around the World. Now my oldest is a teen so i didn't mind leaving her and dd11 but i did take the younger one with me. She would watch turtle talk with crush allllll day.
  13. I know alot of people say its to crowded but we love it. We love the food and the atmosphere inside.
  14. We went to the Yachtsmen steakhouse for my daughters birthday in Jan. while it was delish i think it was WAY overpriced. If you wanted a salad it was like an extra $13 for iceberg lettuce with dressing on it. One of the best steak dinners we had was at lonestar steakhose, it was excellent.
  15. I love both places! We stop and visit St Augustine on our way home from the fort but there is just so much to do at disney. Since you have kids im sure the parks would be more exciting.
  16. Whats the best shoes to wear, bag to carry, etc.... Let's put our best survival tips here for those who may be planning their first trip to the world. One of my favorites.....Using drink lids to slide on the popcicle sticks to catch all the drips. We eat alot of Mickey Ears and this tip saves lots of stains on my little one shirts.
  17. Dang you're fast! GREAT REPORT!
