  2. Royal Caribbean offers an incentive reward program, generally reserved for purchase by businesses only. This allows the business to purchase a certificate for a cruise. The person receiving the certificate would then apply it towards applicable sailings, regardless of the cost of the sailing. This is great for businesses who want to reward its employees or have a contest for its employees. BUT -- for a limited time through the end of this month, these Royal Incentive Rewards Cruise Certificates are available to anyone for purchase!

For as little as $583, you can purchase a certificate as a gift for someone. These certificates are good for two people. These are very flexible as they are fully upgradeable and transferable with no expiration dates. There is a wide range of certificates available at various price points so there is something for everyone.

Certificates are priced based on the type and length of cruise, the type of stateroom desired and the time of year desired. There are some restrictions so email me if you're interested and I can help!

  3. Disney has released some new discounts -- through August 13, 2011!  And, they are good at the Fort!!

Discounts are up to 30% for stays most nights between April 22-August 13 at select Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts.

Between June 15 and August 13, 2011, you can save 25% at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian Resort. Save 30% at other select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts.

Restrictions do apply and availability is limited.  Book by 4/30/11 for stays between 4/22 and 5/28 and book by 5/28/11 for stays between 5/29 and 6/14.

Please email me at [email protected] if you'd like a quote!  :))

  4. Thanks for the review!  Pretty consistent with what other people say about Carnival.  It's a cruise, so you have to have a good time!  But, most reviews are are pretty mediocre--as far as the ship, food, etc. go.

I should have given you this hint before you left -- I bought one of those over-the-door things with lots of pockets in it.  It's clear, so you can see what's in the pockets.  I hang it over the bathroom door, and it holds everything!  Anything that would normally sit on the counter--toiletries, books, glasses, lotions, combs/brushes, toothbrush/paste, and anything else!  So, next cruise, get one of those!  :popo:

  5. Did you know that the Dining times on the Dream have been changed to 5:45 pm and 8:15 pm???

We have tickets to the 7pm show, so we'll have plenty of time to get to the 8:30 dinner.  Maybe even have time to stop for a pre-dinner drink on the way!  :rofl2:

  6. We have picked an Eastern Caribbean sailing on the Disney Fantasy on October 20, 2012 for the first official Travel On A Dream cruise!!  :)

This cruise will go out of Port Canaveral, on the brand new Disney Fantasy, and will visit the ports of St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Castaway Cay.  This is my favorite itinerary, so I'm really excited about it!

We haven't set a schedule for any events onboard yet, but do plan to have some special shore excursions and activities while on this sailing. We have group space available. There is good availability on this sailing right now.  In order to participate in any of the events you do need to book your reservation through Travel On A Dream.  If you'd like a quote, please email me at [email protected].

In addition to the Early Booking savings, you will get an onboard credit from ToaD!  :)

Let me know if you have any questions!

  7. Ok - I'm updating my response!  We ate at San Angel yesterday, and it was wonderful!!  The menu was a little different than the last time we were there.  I started with Guacamole and Chiccherones (sp?).  The guac was very fresh, and had a great flavor.  Then I had the chicken enchiladas - which were very good!  DH had the shredded pork, marinated in pineapple juice, orange juice, and beer.  It came with tiny tortillas to wrap the pork in.  The flavor of the pork was amazing!  One of our friends had the chorizo tacos, which she said were really good too.

The portions were large, the service was great, and this is my new favorite Epcot restaurant now!  :bday:

  8. I just got an interesting piece of information. One of my bosses is on the boarding line now for the Dream. He called me to tell me that where they check your carry on luggage there is a sign no firearms and NO LIQUORE. everything that I have read says you can bring liquore in your carry-on - whats up with the sign?

Also he said the lines are very long, even thou you will have to wait a long time to get there early.

That sign has always been there, they just don't enforce it.  :rofl2:

  9. My personal favorite resort, offsite, is the Sheraton Vistana Villas - on International Drive!  The resort is fantastic, with a really nice pool and other amenities.  The villas are beautiful!!  They are as nice (or nicer) than the DVC villas onsite at Disney, but less than half the price!

They have 2 bedroom villas that have a full kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, and laundry room.  The master bedroom has it's own bathroom, with a jacuzzi tub.  The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds, and is connected to the main bathroom.

I've been getting some really good rates for people lately too!  Let me know if you'd like a quote for a specific time, and I'll get it for you.  :)

If you'd rather book it on your own, here's their link:  http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=5607

DH and I are staying there next month for our anniversary!  ;D  :)
