  1. Ok, I am in the minority.  My husband and I just did this tour in November and we LOVED it!!  He was always afraid of it taking away the magic.  I specifically planned that trip to do things we don't get to do when we have the kids with us.  I see it a different way.  I see how much more thought has gone into the creation and development of WDW.  The tour is about 6 hours.  It did include lunch.  If the "adult" in your party is one mature enough to see and appreciate the "engineering" parts, than I say go for it.  It was amazing.  Again I loved it and now I have some really cool Cliff Clavin facts to share with anyone who would like to hear.

  2. I need to learn how to add photos again.  I didn't take a ton but enough.

All I can say is I accomplished the 4 Parks ONE day!  Do I ever need to do that again?  NO!  My feet were in pain.  I wore the right shoes wrong socks....go figure!  Had the most amazing time this year!

My WWW started Wednesday morning.  I tried to leave by 6 AM.  The unfortunate thing was I was still working until 8 AM.  Every time I went to leave I got a call and had to take care of a patient.  Silly people, didn't they realize I was leaving???

The drive to pick up Marty in SC took forever.  The fog was the worst.  At times I were barely driving 25mph on 85 South.  Just North of Charlotte it cleared.  A little late to pick up Marty.  A good thing, it gave Kimmie extra time to shop, and shop she did. MPR!

Now the Carolina Girls were back together this time not on Amtrak but in Big Blue.

Next stop Daytona to pick up Nicki!

Great Ocean Front Room the rest MPR!

    :wave1:  :rofl2: FULL  MOON  :rofl2:

  3. Very well said Marty!  We had a great time and got to know each other on the way down.  They do have sleeper cars.  Have you looked at the cost there?  We got off in Kissimmee not Orlando, it was closer for my friend and she said closer to the Fort.  The smell took some getting used to and I am sure it could get a lot worse.  It really wasn't too bad.  The hardest part for me...the bathroom.  As hard as I tried with the delay I couldn't hold it the 12 hours, and the BR was gross.  Would I do it again?  YEP, we had a good time!

  4. Good for you.  We had a super small pop up and I could never get that thing to back up the way I wanted.  Thankfully a neighbor saw me one day and helped me get it out of our other neighbors driveway and up mine where it belonged,    Do you have any large church parking lots near you?  Sunday will be busy but maybe a mall parking lot after they close early on Sunday.  Good Luck!!

  5. We had a bearing burn out on our pop up on our way to the Fort.  Dang thing never made it.  Left it in SC for repair.  I took it to an RV place to have them do a full inspection and road ready tune up.  From what I understood, they didn't grease the inside.  Make sure you have somebody who knows what they are doing.  We were lucky, my in-laws were behind us and saw the smoke before anything really bad could happen.  Good luck!
