  1. Yes, sir, it is. 2009 F450 Lariat with offroad package and 2011 36 RSSB3. It's a good matchup & been a good setup for us so far. I just hesitate to recommend any new diesel with these new diesel emissions on them, though. David
  2. Just to add we're finishing our third year as full-timers and we're still rearranging things. When we were weekend warriors, we kept our TT loaded with kitchen, towels, sheets, etc, dedicated to the TT. Loading was to fill the freshwater tank, load the food, and any clothes we thought we might need (and usually too much). Anything else, we got on the road. BTW: As a full timer, WalMart is a major supplier for us, and we never had sheets that fit! :) David (on edit: we never had sheets that fit until we went full timing.)
  3. OK, so I'm continuing to read all through the forum and run across this thread. We'll soon wrap up our third year and I know this thread is old, but did want to comment. As we're full-timers we're not seeing a lot of other, true full-timers out there. Most are grandparents traveling between grandchildren's locations. Not a bad idea, either However, we do run across a number of people that are working from their RV (especially in the petroleum industry). Most will move to a more permanent housing when able. But true people who sold everything (or gave away or some combination of both) are no
  4. Our experience is that taking the buses from the Fort to be the best (except for the Grand Floridian). We ride or walk to the entrance transportation area and just wait for the bus we need. You may find that you need to go from the fort to the transportation center and change buses, but we've sill found it to be the fastest route. (on edit: I've forgotten about going to Downtown Disney as a change over - great point!) For the Grand Floridian, we've always took the boat to MK and get a second boat from MK to the hotel. It's just a nice ride! Time it right in the evening, and you can watch
  5. Found Snarky and the app is working great! Thanks everyone! David
  6. A little help with the android app, please. I'm having a problem getting the app to return to the start or beginning screen after viewing pictures. For example, I select the 1400 loop and scan through all the site pictures. I'm having to move backwards to return to the beginning screen. For me, the menu button doesn't respond. If I leave (close?) the app and return, I'm at the last site photo I stopped at. Pretty sure it's me that's the problem - usually is, anyway. Phone is a Thunderbolt using Android ver 2.3.4, HTC Sense ver 2.1, and software number 2.11.605.19.710RD. Thanks! David
  7. As my first post, I just wanted to also say this info is just outstanding! We're beginning to put a rough plan together for a late 2013 or early 2014 visit. Info is somewhat limited on the Ft Wilderness website and while the response from Disney is quick, I've found myself wanting to ask more and more questions. Then I remembered (hard for me to do, sometimes) that someone posted a link to this forum on the Escapees forum. Found that link (also usually hard for me to do), took a look, joined and here I am finding more than what I was looking for. Thanks!!! David
