  1. I've not cruised Disney, but just did Carnival in March. Previously had done one Carnival and two RC YEARS ago. I have to say, we really enjoyed Carnival's flexible dining. You basically just show up and tell them you want a table for 2 and it's just like a restaurant. If you show up peak time, you may wait to be seated 20-30 min, but some other days, little to no wait. You get to sit just the two of you and you aren't locked into times. I wonder why Disney doesn't go to that with one of their dining rooms... Carnival still has early and late seating as well in a different dining room,

  3. I have a few friends who invited me to do the Princess half w/ them and travel to WDW in an RV, camp at FW. I wasn't ready to quite commit to a half and my husband laughed when I told him about staying in an RV.... (he'd love it, I'm not much of a camper...) Anyway, I've had many friends who have done the Princess half and a few who have done the full in January. The pics look like a blast... maybe one day!! My longest race to date is just a 10K....
  4. Ya'll crack me up!! Okay, so question back on topic.... some people said to take the boat over on the way, and the bus back.... wouldn't your golf cart be at the wrong end of FW if you did so?
  5. Brand new around here, but loving this TR!! Disney cruise is definitely on the bucket list! Maybe 2014!! I get the Nassua-dislike but I have to tell you, we did a 5 nt Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston in March. Nassau & Freeport are the only ports. In Nassau, we caught a jitney to the Sandals and paid for a daypass. We had full access to restaurants/bars/pools, free food, drinks, etc. We had a fantastic day. They have a private island that is quite nice w/ its own pool/hot tub/restaurant/beach. You take a small boat to get there. Back on the mainland there are two other pools.
  6. I just joined this site TODAY, and I knew what Todd meant. What does that say about ME??? Anyway, I sure hope the Horse Barn is reopened in the next 17 days! Does this mean horse activities, i.e., pony rides are limited?
  7. Thanks. I did actually talk to Kenny. He was $30 more total over 6 days (I realize this isn't significant). He charged the full amount 10 days out and as a first-timer, I was nervous about the meet=up after $$ had exchanged hands. CFGC promised not to charge until cart delivery which put me more at ease.... I think I'll just hope for the best. Question - are you all saying that CFGC wanted your KTTW card to get access to property for drop off? Are you concerned they'd take off w/ your card?
  8. New to the site. Howdy. Cabins booked 9/2 to 9/8. Booked a golf cart w/ Carolina at CFGC for a great price. She just said they'd contact me a day or two earlier for delivery details. Now ya'll have me worried. How is it that Kenny and/or Matt deliver carts / get on property w/o a Key Card?
