Beckers 1,136
Sounds good if I could sub mayo for butter. Mentally I can't imagine that. I like butter, I like ham, I like bread and butter just together isn't jiving in my world.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Had lunch with my French grandmother one day. She had leftover ham she was going to heat up for us. She put it in a pan and threw about 6 pats of butter on it then popped it in the toaster oven. Mmmmm....
Beckers 1,136
Now ham cooked in butter sounds good. Ham with butter spread on it, not so much .
DaveInTN 3,247
Am I to understand that if you give a ham and cheese sandwich a fancy French name, you can charge $7.50 for it? I'm in the wrong business.

Thrill Shakespeare (Andy) 58
Disney can charge $7.50 for a sandwich even without a fancy name.
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Am I to understand that if you give a ham and cheese sandwich a fancy French name, you can charge $7.50 for it? I'm in the wrong business. $7.50 is cheap. For Disney. I thought this sandwich replaced the croquet monsieur, which is just a fancy grilled ham and cheese sandwich, but it is still there on the menu for $8.75. TCD
