Travisma 1,317
Does anyone know if the northern loop of the canoe trail has been cleared up. This is the one between the 1400, 500, and 600 loops. Last time we went thru there in October it was full of floating logs, branches and slime. It made for slow going. I mean it's not like they just opened the canal.
AuburnJen 773
When I was there yesterday almost every kayak was checked out and people were everywhere paddling away. I cannot confirm that everything has been cleaned out but only that there were a bunch of people paddling away with smiles on their faces and sweat on their brows. Travisma 1,317
They weren't sweating, they were glistening. Sweating isn't allowed on Disney properties. It's not Magical enough! Helmsey......Todd
Tri-Circle-D 2,059
I took this photo last month, on May 23rd. This is from the bridge between the 1400 loop and the 500 loop. 1400 would be on the left in this photo, and 500 on the right. The canal looks pretty clear: TCD
Wayloncle 0
I canoed through there last Monday, there are logs floating and branches hanging down...I thought I was going down the wrong canal, but I wasn't. It's not pretty but you can go through it.
Travisma 1,317
If they hauled out the logs and other debris, they might actually get some water flowing thru there.
