OMG - I used to watch the Saturday candlepin bowling show with my Memere. :)

Sadly, Dave Maynard just died recently. I got to meet him in person once on Community Auditions.

But that was a very, very long time ago...

Were you on Community Auditions? You must have been VERY young?

I didn't remember the middle... "Your vote may hold the key"... but I remembered the rest and the tune.

No clue who hosted before Dave Maynard without looking it up. I moved to NH in 1974 and he was firmly entrenched by then. I remember listening to him on WBZ radio, too.
