TCD. I know your a west coaster, well at least when it comes to us Florida boys. We are at all children's hospital in st Petersburg today and tomorrow, we're heading back home tomorrow night. Any tips on places to eat or quick things to do in st Petersburg. We are staying downtown I guess. We haven't seen the hotel yet, we drove across this morning for our appointments.

Adult or kidwise?

Dali Museum will take a while

Chihuly Museum  Can do this in an hour or so

Lots of small restaurants and brew pubs check this listing

I don't get over there, but that area has exploded the last few years and a lot of the places sound good and get great reviews.

Try this link also, they have a lot of good reviews of foodie places

I haven't been yet, but I really want to get to the new Hofbrauhaus in downtown St. Pete:  http://www.hofbrauhausstpetersburg.com/

If you want a sports bar, Fergs is hard to beat:  http://www.fergssportsbar.com/

The Dali museum is interesting.  If you're up for something heavy duty, the Florida Holocaust Museum is very well done, but also quite sobering.

Hope this helps.  I'd head down to the Hofbrauhaus tonight, but I have to pack and catch and early flight out to the real west coast in the morning.

Forgot about the Hofbrauhaus.  It's only been open a couple of months and they said that it's been a huge success.

Thanks for the tips. We ended up getting out of the hospital late. We were staying close to the water and there was a ton of restaurants right there. We just walked to one of those and then went to bed. Maybe next time we will have more time.
