Travisma 1,317 Posted January 3, 2016 Report Share Posted January 3, 2016 This may be good news or bad news depending on how MBs feel on you.Yesterday my daughter purchased one of the new Orange Bird MBs ( not the Blog Party one).When she put it one she mentioned it felt lighter. When I looked at it, the bulge where the chip goes looked smaller.Well last night ( and today) she bought 2 of the Kylo Ren limited release (2015 of them) MBs. She gave one to me. When I put it on it felt lighter. When I compared it to my other MB, the chip bulge was smaller, and the rest of the band itself was a lot thinner.Maybe they had complaints about the weight, or they just found a way to save a 1/2 cent per band on raw material costs.Another odd thing was these Kylo Ren bands were released at Disneyland and WDW on 12/26 or 12/27 with a run of 2015 of them. HS still had them yesterday and today. I guess each store (Wattos Grotto, The Darkroom, and the Mickey Store) only put out 20 a day. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
