Yesterday we spent the day at the beach and the kids played on their boogie boards and I got in on some of the action too but the waves slamming the broken small shells into our legs was murder!! We ate at crabby mikes for dinner and I ate way to much of course. After crabby mikes hubby took off and came back with a rented golf cart... guess he got tired of walking! We drove around and looked at all the campers and the sections that this place has to offer and from my eyes there are only a handful of bad sites in this entire place, which is pretty good for as many sites that they have. The one thing I do suggest is getting one with a pad it makes sand removal and control a lot easier :D THESE PICS ARE FROM MY MORNING WALK WITH MY OLDEST DDASHLEY ENJOYING THE SUNANDRUE BUSTIN A MOVE (OR TRYING TO... LOL)RISSA RIDING A WAVEWell today we plan to go to Broadway at the Beach and walk around and play Magi Quest. We were on that site last fall:How is Crabby Mike's? Have you ever been to the Original Benjamin's on Restaurant Row? That's where we usually go but I've been thinking about trying Crabby Mike's again since it's so close. Have you ever been to Gulf Stream Cafe in Garden City? Really like 2000 less hustle and bustle plus close enough to the hotel next door to pick up their wi-fi :banana: Crabby Mike's is a must do for us too, though I can't do the buffet justice. We bought this amazin olive oil from Devo olive oil company called Italian tuscan blend and I can't wait to put it over some pasta. We also got some crab salsa, sweet & sassy sauce, & smokey salsa from the pepper place (man that place was full of samples)!OH AND I SAW THIS AND WAS THINKING OF ALL MY FIEND FRIENDS!!The kids played Magi questMy youngest wanted to make a bear at build a bearWe killed the candy shop (lord did they dig in my wallet)Goofed around and saw some cool stuffAfter that we went to olive garden and came back and me and the kids went swimming at the pool and hubby drove around in the cart with the dog. Then we walked on the beach for a little and came back to get ready to watch the race! I must say it was not a good race at all! :argh:WELL THATS ALL FOR NOW.. Just a simple but fun day, not many pics but i'm sure you all know we had a blast!The night ended with some burgers and fries! So far all we did today is do some laundry and stay inside cause all but DH and Ashley my youngest DD have sunburn and are in pain :argh: so there will not be much pics for today sorry folks! We had fun flying the kite and the girls got a try at steering the golf cart, tonight were gonna have some shrimp and hushpuppies for supper!!
