Sign Language for shows and parades at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World are constantly looking at ways to enhance the park experience for guests with hearing disabilities, and have recently expanded their range of sign language shows and parades. Here is a summary of the current availability of signing, but you should check in with guest services, or call (407) 824-4321 (voice) or (407) 827-5141 (TTY) prior to your trip for specific scheduling information.

Magic Kingdom Park - Mondays and Thursdays

My oldest daughter is hearing impaired. We missed all the translated shows our last trip. She gets most of it but we always have a recap at the end of a show to fill her in on what she has missed. I hope we can coordinate the shows this time. Thanks for posting.

One of our rescue volunteers just published a children's book illustrated by her SIL about the deaf border collie puppy she adopted from our rescue. In it she introduces the sign language they use to communicate with him. :)
