jayfeather4fam 0
This June will be our first time EVER to Disney with family (two kids, ages 14 and 12)! Will stay in our 30 ft. TT with one slide. We are planning 6 full days at Disney and want to pack it full with the parks. Can anyone recommend the best loop for the following preferences:-we always pick privacy and space but willing to trade that off IF NEED BE for the following: 1) quick, easy access to ferry (as we will be using it early in the am, and late in the night) 2) super close to comfort station-again will be using it late night 3) as close to pool as possible, given 1 and 2 4) shade would be a good thing tooAny advice, suggestions will be much appreciated!! Thanks!!
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Welcome!First question - what level of site did you book (full hookup, preferred or premium) as that will determine what your choices are. Also you may already know this, but loop/site requests are not guaranteed. The Fort generally does their best to accomodate requests when they can, but a lot of things factor into that, including how busy it is on the particular week/day/time of day you check in.Personally I think it works better if you let Disney know what you want from a site vs asking for a specific number loop/site - i.e., close to bus stop, comfort station, etc..We always request our top 3-5 sites but also note why (in our case generally dog related).I'm sure some folks here will have some recommendations for you, but if you haven't already, we also have some great information stored on the Info side of our site- including videos of all camping loops (except 2000), site specs and a link to the oh-so-awesome "Sites at the Fort" mobile app. You can find all that info linked from our Site Map page here...http://www.fortfiends.net/_/info/site-map-find-what-you-need-here-r99Scroll down to the "Accomodations" section.Happy camping!! h2odivers...Ray 952
Welcome. I've only been once but we loved 1431-premium site. It's close to comfort station, swimming pool, chip n dales campfire, and has good shade. It's a short walk to the bus stop but to far to walk to boat. Well it's not far but it's not a 5 minute walk away. Have fun.
.....Gary 85
In reality you will probably only use the boats to get to the MK. All other parks and DTD are accessed by bus from the outpost. 600 & 1300 are close to the Meadows pool, if you booked Premium. Another option would be book a cheaper less expensive site and with the $ saved rent a Kenny cart, problems ALL solved.By the way,,,, Welcome to FF.Net :welcome2: :clint:
ftwildernessguy 778
3000 loop is closest to pool, marina, settlement and meadows areas. Each site has its own comfort station.
