Does it make financial sense to stay there longterm since the WDW salaries are notoriously low and The Fort site rentals are so high? mouseketab.....Carol 1,261 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 You can't make it "financially feasible". From what I understand, there is no "work camping" at the Fort. You stay as a regular guest and get the same discounts that any other guest is eligible for. There are CM discounts on reservations, but I'm pretty sure they are few and far between. I know there are a few people staying at the Fort and working there, but they have other financial means for their accommodations and are just working for the theme park perks and some miniscule discounts.
