Lou... 3,118 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 So what's new and enhanced about the maps?Some of the new features on the maps are the new images, the addition of select merchandise locations, a panel featuring special entertainment and attractions, and the addition of animal icons to the Animal Kingdom map.The new maps are also to scale, which makes it easier to judge the distance between attractions.Why the new format?The new maps are based on the "My Disney Experience" website which is supposed to create a seamless experience from the moment you begin planning your vacation at home to your arrival at WDW.New map orientation for select mapsThe maps are also designed true north to south.
