Dryadi 0
I am new to the group and want to know where can I find the list of fort fiend travel agents? I have always made my reservations thru the Disney website. Is it true that you can get cheaper rates if you make it with a travel agent (like AAA for example)? BouncingTiggers 98
You can book thru AAA and get discounts. FF.net also has some great TA's. Someone will have to post their info though as I can't find on my kindle.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
A travel agent can be a big help doing the leg work of tracking down discounts for you (like AP, AAA, etc.) instead of spending a bunch of your time on the phone trying to find a CM at Reservations that knows what they're talking about. There are a few travel agents that various Fort Fiends use/recommend (I'm sure folks will be along with info), a couple of Fiends are TAs (ditto), and one TA sponsors the site. mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Oh and just an FYI - AAA "packages" have to be done through a AAA office. AAA discounts on rooms or sites can be done through any travel agent. I have never found any advantage to a AAA package though.

Tickets & everything else never seem to offer a savings.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
When it comes to AAA, where you live makes a difference too. Each office is independently owned and operated so some of the discounts offered can vary. For example I've heard that some of the SE offices do offer discounts on WDW tickets, but up here in NH they do not.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Try using a good travel agent. In March 2012 we got a 30% passholder discount. In October 2012 we had either a 20% or 30% AAA discount -- don't remember which. Doubt I would have gotten either discount without my TA!
