For the lines for both the resort and Magic Kingdom boats to be back all the way to the cart parking area? We were headed out for a late dinner and just scraped those plans LOL. Just wondering, don't recall seeing this last year. We've seen our share of strange issues with moving things this week... LOL. Maybe we're just cursed.

LOL! Well. Strictly speaking yes... :) And, they had a forklift there doing something. It looked like the sign was new. Maybe they were just working on something else about it.

Here is a slightly better non trespassing pic. Taken from the comfort station looking in. You can see a trailer with the old pipes, where they trenched across the road, and some kind of machine I can't identify.

I've been needing a good sounding excuse to buy a drone. I'll talk it over with DW. If you never hear from me again... I've finally pushed her over the edge with my toy requests!

When I went past I do not recall seeing anything in there at all except for some construction equipment. Not saying there was no trailer there, but I don't recall it. I saw a trench being dug, what looked like a culvert being replaced, one of the trash cans pulled up out of the ground. Some pavement removed... I took a pic on my way to the marina this AM, but it's bad and blurry. I'll try again later.

Just passed this on the way to the Marina:

Umm. We might or might not have looped through a dark empty loop. The keep out signs are hard to read here at the fort after dark... It's strange and kinda cool to see all those empty spaces.

And, noticed that they are not exactly working as if they have any particular schedule to meet either. LOL. I guess slow and steady wins the race. :)

Yah. Haven't noticed anything that looks like electrical work so far.

Went looping last night and noticed that the 900 Loop was empty and blocked. (The kids love looking for other Mickey lamps since we made one of our own last fall.) They had a trench dug and appeared to be replacing some kind of drainage culvert/pipe. Pic later on if I can get one.

Took those while I was waiting for my *Very healthy* breakfast of Biscuits and Gravy... Umm... Well. I think I read someplace that Fort Gravy was actually good for you. :)

They have all the crushed shell/sand down and now they are back with treated 4X4s:

Today they are dumping in lots of sand and packtng it down. The kids loved watching the big machines working. Looks like that entire space that separated The Pioneer Hall cart parking area from the Carrige ride (?) will be Cart parking when they are done. No Starbucks - yet.

Looks like they cleared the area Next to the Pioner Hall cart park. Last year it was just woods. Now it's bare earth and machinery. Are they expanding the cart parking?

That's where I fell flat on may face last year 50 minutes into our 5 day stay... Fell over the bike rack. Too focused on my grape slushy I guess... Mohican and Hocking hills are the two busiest parks. I do tend to book reservations as far in advance as allowed (6 months right now).-I know that Mohican has a pool as well. -My camper is 36 feet, we just take it slow at Hocking Hills, normally try to book a site down by the water tower. That loop around the tower is tight, but manageable. -Not all sites/loops are the same at Salt Fork. The back half of the "G" loop can have fairly shady sites. It all depends on the site you get, Google Earth is your friend... As for the Drop offs?? I don't get it, maybe in some loops, but G is almost pe

We stayed in 1408 Last year for our first ever visit to the Fort. We'll be down for our second visit in just over a week!!!!!!!!! :). Liked that part of 1400 because there was nobody directly behind us, close to the Meadows, but far enough away to not have any noise issues, and mostly no real noise from the buses. So, we'll have a cart, we like that area of 1400, will most likely aim our requests back in that same general vicinity... I'll second Carter Caves. Even though we had a Skunk die and spray our campsite the day before we arrived. LOL. Not sure if the smell dissipated quickly, or if we just got used to it... In Ohio, I'd like to offer up two places: Old Mans Cave/ Hocking Hills State Park, and Mohican State Park. Both are true natural wonders with a variety of outdoor activities in and around. If you can't live without a cell phone, they may not be the place for you, which is fine, it leaves more spots open for me! LOL. Yay! Way too many people and too many carts in such a small space. When we were there last year it really worried me (as an inexperienced cart driver) especially at night when we'd go down to see the fireworks. And lookie at the little countdown thingy! Just two more weeks till we get to see it for ourselves! :)

You didn't really mention what you are interested in doing and if you require full hookup or not. Have you checked out any of the state park campgrounds? I've found that we actually prefer them to commercial CGs for short to medium excursions (think long weekend to 5 days). Check out Salt Fork, Mohican, Hocking Hills prehaps? Happy Camping! :)
