  1. I wonder if I could print this as a handy wallet reference card... ;-)
  2. As already stated you pick up at the Meadows Trading Post, and, I second that it works great. Very nice not to need to lug stuff around. The only downside is if it's something the little ones are in love with, they have to wait a day. I think it's delivered the next day - I'm pretty sure the Cast Members will even ask to make sure you are not leaving the next day so you don't miss getting your stuff.
  3. I haunt another RV group where the subject of leaving your propane on or off while traveling will generated 8 or 10 pages of argument and debate one way or another. Speaking just for me, we turn ours on the night before a trip so the fridge gets cold before we leave... It stays on, (yes, even when fueling at gas stations) until I unload at the end of our trip. This saved me one day. We tripped the breaker on the pedestal while we were away for several hours. Fridge switched back to gas and kept everything cold. I have not exploded on the highway or blown up any gas stations so far. :)
  4. Wow. Had no idea at all! According to the CDCs website: "While it’s possible for you to get the disease from an armadillo, the risk is low. Most people who come into contact with armadillos are unlikely to get Hansen’s disease."
  5. Note to self: Self, search BEFORE you post. Hahah. My apologies folks.
  6. Just saw this in a FB group. I ve read here that the noise can be heard easily at the Fort, but during our stay last year I can't remember ever noticing it (maybe due to what seemed like constant rain while we were there.) Anyway, for whatever it's worth. Sorry if this is the 100th posting about this LOL.
  7. I have to say, that is magical! Just sayin, I can't think of another place on earth where they'd roll out this kind of hardware to fetch a toy out of a tree! Where is the like button when I need it?
  8. Hey there! It's good to get to say hi and not just lurk. Hah. We're from Central Ohio. Near Columbus. A little town called Pickerington. There's a new guy thread or board on here someplace. I'll have to find it and say a proper hello. As prepared as we were (thanks again to the folks here) we just were completely overwhelmed buy not just our first trip to Disney, but our first "big" camping trip. Now that summer is over Ive got more time to surf the inter webs. But. I generally read a lot more than I post.
  9. LOL. I'd love to meet Lou and make good on that hug!
  10. Hi! Noobs here, Myself (Mike) , DW, DD, DS... Thanks to all the information we found on this site we had a great first trip to Disney and to the Fort this year. I'm hoping my very low key first posting will not get me yelled at for not joining sooner. Since camping for us is done for the year and we can't get back to the Fort till School is out The kids and I put together our own Mickey Lamp over the weekend. (Thanks again to the plans I found here!) I used a string of color changing LED rope lights I found a Home Depot complete with remote control (you can just see the re
