Looks like you guys are enjoying it. Hopefully we get that spot.
I hope so too, you will love it. We initially requested 619 (which we love but beware, it is one of the few good spots on 600 loop), instead they had us on 611 which was a no go. I did some research and had backup sites that fiends have recommended...as luck would have it, the first one was 1429 and we got it! Here are my notes about 1400 loop.
1429 - backs up to canal and very peaceful
1435 - watch movie from site but could get loud, plenty of room though
1439 - Nice and large
1441 - Is private and nice
I will add that the in-laws stayed in 1432 and liked it a lot...it has path to the meadows in the back of the site, but can get a little loud from the movie as well.
Also, we arrived to check in around 10:30am...the earlier the better since there are more sites to choose from.

Loved it. Our camper is 31 ft, we left enough room in the back to set up our 10x10 tent and enjoy the canal.

Have you contacted the outside vendor? Undercover Tourist will refund, minus 5% fee, in some cases if you haven't linked them.
I called officialticketcenter.com this morning and unfortunately I have already linked them. No dice.

Kinda what I thought. Next step is to let the negotiator (wifey) at them. Hoping for a statement credit or something.

Ok, so my planning has failed miserably. I initially purchased a 10 day ticket w/hopper and waterparks and had planned on upgrading to AP's when we got there. (This would save us around $180 since we purchased them through an outside vendor). This was all done since we were (key word) planning on going for Spring Break, Fall Break, and Christmas.
Fast forward 5 months'ish and our house is on the market and we have a contract on another house with some acreage, this is not only affecting our cash flow but also our time available. So bottom line, we will probably want to spend Christmas in our new home and maybe fall break to work on projects.
My question is this...I know Disney tickets are non refundable and I've spoken with them about this issue just to make sure. Has anyone had any luck downgrading tickets? We would want to reduce to a 5 day ticket (no hopper or waterpark option). The CS rep suggested I speak to them in person when I get there and they may make an exception...any other options?

We have two trips to DW planned for 2016. One in the summer, and one for Thanksgiving. Staying in the MH in Sevierville in the summer and using Veteran's Blvd to avoid much traffic. In a "cabin" for Thanksgiving off 321 in Gatlinburg. We gotta find some of those nooks and crannies DIT has explored at DW.
Cinnamon Bread at the Grist Mill will change your life...most excellent.

Yes, Treadwell is going, but our QB(a Junior) is staying(at least that is the thought) and he still has many targets to throw at. Ole Miss will still be a strong team next year only losing 4 players to the NFL. I don't know why the media keeps saying that Ole Miss will be in a rebuilding pattern next year.
I think the Cowboys will get Treadwell. He is such a beast!

And, the talk has already started for next season.
A genius on Fox Sports already has his top 25 list for next year. I guess Bowl results don't count, because it looks like the love affair with the Big 12, ACC and other inferior conferences continues:
- Clemson
- Florida State
- Alabama
- Michigan
- LSU
- Oklahoma
- TCU
- Ole Miss
- Baylor
- Houston
- Tennessee
- Stanford
- Michigan State
- Ohio State
- Washington
- Notre Dame
- USC
- Iowa
- Georgia
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma State
- Oregon
- Lousiville
- Utah
- Miami
Just missed: UCLA, Boise State, Wisconsin, Washington State, Nebraska
Sigh.

Only 233 days left till the season starts so the pollsters have to get on it. I must agree on Clemson at #1 since they have so much coming back and I am super impressed with Watson. He is what we want Dobbs to be next year.
Why O why couldn't they have beaten Bama last night?!?!?! But I did read where the busses left Kiffin at the stadium, I enjoyed that.
Vols in the top 15 looks nice and I think they will go 10-2 next year with losses to Fla and Bama. After the painful game this year, i have vowed never to pick them again vs the gators until they prove they can win.

Just cancelled for those who may be interested.

Did it bother you having Fort Wilderness Trail right behind your site? That's the main campground road and there's a busy sidewalk alongside it as well. To me, that disqualifies one of the criteria the OP was seeking (privacy).

Guess I probably should have mentioned a disclaimer on the post. The other loops we have stayed in are 100 and 200. So compared to those loops, site 619 was private. And our youngest, Reese, normally brings all kids to our site anyway, so we normally throw privacy out the window when we take her. :D
I really didn't notice the noise too much because the trees were fairly thick between us and the road. However, you could hear the buses running for sure. Here is a pic of the site during March.

We stayed on the 600 loop earlier this year and really liked it. Site 619 seemed to be the best from a shade perspective plus it was very close to the bridge leading over to the meadows. Our girls (7-9) could go back and forth while the wife and I relaxed at the camper. We had a golf cart as well which was key.

We are booked Oct 1-8.

This idea has so much potential for us next year between fall break and Christmas. The only problem is space for stuff since we haul the golf cart in the back of the truck...wheels are still turning.

Rubbermaid tubs strapped to the golf cart. Just an idea
Good idea...but I'm afraid this would be us.
We overpack like crazy.

That's about all i can speak about it right now. I still need a few more days to mourn.
Luckily we will be at Camp Gulf in Destin for this week's Ark game. Toes in the sand and cold one in hand therapy makes things a bit better.
