so being a Florida Resident I have lots of opportunity to go to the parks, and well we are upon the time that i plan on going

I have trips 12/11-12/14 (4 days of FP+), 1/8-1/10(2 days of FP+), 2/5-2/7(trying for 2 days of FP+)

I already have December and January FP+ set up, however I tried to do my February trip and it lets me do only 1 day, I can do the Friday, the Saturday, or the Sunday, but once i select one day any other day gives me the error of limit reached?

For example I did Friday first, and went to to Saturday but it would not let me, so i was like maybe is the 61'st day? so i canceled Fridays and was able to select Saturdays, but now i cant select any on Friday or Sunday

I understand there is a limit for annual pass-holders of 7 days in a 30 day period, however I have reservations at 3 Disney resorts( FW, ASM, FW), and well I should be able to select things for another day or 2 on my trip in February as Ill use 4 of my fast pass days this coming week and its greater than 30 days from that trip.

I am confused by all of this, hoping that some one can clarify why it wont let me

they are different, they are an AGM or absorbed glass mat, Optomia is a premium brand but you can get AGM in other brands for cheaper.

Personally I switched to AGM in the Cars and like it, they seem to hold up longer for some reason

its all good, 

you use the tamper if you dont understand how to get it to vortex.

I like the variable knob on the vitamix, start slow, and make a vortex, keep increasing speed till the smooth, if it burps slow down till you get the vortex again.

if you go flat out from the get go you never see a vortex and thus need the tamper

look at almost any AGM battery, that is an Absorbed glass mat, that is they style of optomia.

they are typically of a better build quality and dictate a higher price

I have a Duralast AGM in my TV that i rarely drive( 6,000 miles in 2.5 years) and its never had a problem starting it event after sittings for a month or more.

when my trailer battery goes Ill change over to an AGM for that as well 

I believe with any battery if you properly maintain them they will last a while, so invest in a good trickle charger to keep it topped off when not in use

I have a battery tender jr for the trailer, but have use the same unit on my Lawn tractor and that battery was 5 years old before it finally went

as i vitamin owner, I can tell you that i have no clue where the tamper is.... thus i don't use one

All the ones I've seen have a tamper/pusher that is shorter than the depth to the blades and allows you to push the food down

We have been multiple times and requested specific sites, only to be given another site and find all of our requested sites were empty and no one setting up. Why can't we have those empty sites? "We have a big group coming on the weekend."

 

Oh, I thought these were first come-first served sites... nope, here's a huge group, here for three days... sorry pal, you can't have it for the five days prior since you are staying through the weekend. Sure enough, the sites sit vacant for a full five days.

 

Pretty crummy if you ask me.

that seems crazy they would have the site sit unused for 5 days to get it to someone who is using it at a lower rate due to the group discount.... If what you say is true, there should be much more availability in the future 

I will say just from my experience with last Halloween and the coming one making, setting up, and linking all the reservations when you cant book as a group can be much more work than just the typical booking. The groups that do want to be together will have to jump through more hoops to get them linked and as with all regular reservations there wont be a guarantee of being together.

Unless someone has different information, I think a more accurate title for this thread is that Disney will no longer offer discounts on group reservations.

 

I don't think they'd turn away any group willing to pay rack rates.

There is a post on the other FB page that starting 2017 there will be no more "group" reservations made by one individual or TA allowed at the Fort in loops.

 

Sounds like it doesn't affect the real group camping site, just loops where groups take over. 

 

The writer reposted a letter that someone from the Northern Pioneer group had received from Disney.

 

The letter said they were given a special phone # to call this month to book their 2017 reservations.

 

2016 reservations are being honored.

I saw that too thats why i started a new topic.... sounds like getting the same sites in 2017 is going to be a little bit harder?!

i saw a FB post about Fort management no longer allowing group reservations starting in 2017.

it applies to all groups.

Thoughts?

I have seen RR where you walk in and on one side of the door it says Men, and on the inside it says Women just to mess with you, however if they have it that way on the exterior of the door its confusing

if its on the inside they need to remove the "joke" as it no longer applies

But how do you keep ferry people isolated from launch people and monorail people? You can't pre-screen at every dock and mono station. And you don't just need to keep the people in different lines, you need to isolate them so unscreened people can't hand contraband to pre-screened people. No, controlling at a single-point of entry is the only good solution.

I could be accomplished, for example most of the Mono- stations at the hotels have nice choke points in the queuing areas to get up to the boarding, bag check them there.

for the ferry you could set up a bag check area just before the Ferry queue where you have to make a decision about boat or monorail. just past the ticket windows.

Then its a matter of guests traveling from 4 resorts by boat, and again the queuing areas are good choke points, 1-2 security personnel staffed could cover it for the most part, and they are already there at the resorts
