  1. Something I have always wondered since they started bag check, is why no check prior to getting on the Ferry/ monorail?

If they did that, the line at the park entrance  would be only for those arriving by bus, and would be a shorter line as its not 600 people at once showing up, only 1-200 every( calculated at 40 ppl/ bus and 1 bus per minute)  few minutes another perk for those staying on site.

anyone coming off the mono/ ferry just goes to turn style, and move the current security over by the weapons locker for bus guests.

no more upset kids waiting in a long line for bag check at the park entrance would make for a more enjoyable experience.

  2. I need to amend my reservations.  We are staying from the 18-23 and then the 28-2nd.  I will be happy to attend any GG, but we are staying at Bonnett Creek so I won't be able to host.

    the hilton or the wyndham?

I have stayed at that hilton for 3 weeks and its wonderful there

  3.

Yeah, that was definitely a no-call.  But, it was a make up for the phantom block in the back call and the other BS calls that kept your team in the game.  Those refs must have been paid big money by the Wise Guys.

I think it will be along while before we meet again. The Gators don't need to pay money to teams like that to come in and take cheap shots, chop block and try to start fights all game.  I get it that your players felt disrespected.  But, no one needs to come into a game like that trying to start trouble and deliberately hurt players on the other team.  Have some class.  That's how you earn respect.

I'm waiting for the photo of him eating pizza under the stadium.

You somehow must have never seen this classic:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgbBP9Em00A

    Go Gata!

    TCD

I missed most of the game for a funeral, I only caught the last 4 min of the 4th quarter and then the OT

    I have missed the clasic

  4. so let me get this clear, they assign you a site, you try to use it and the people in the next site say no?!?!?!

you are a better man that I am, I would have set up and had a beer, you bring up a valid point that my young mind overlooks till after the fact, that you then have to deal with them for the remainder of their stay.

I think you made the best decision for you, and for that I thank you for the life lesson....

  5. so this one is for the beer drinkers... Black Friday is coming, and while my wife will be out getting gifts and deals, Ill be getting beers.

What some of you may not know is black Friday is a big beer release day.

one of my favorites comes out and there are some others you should go after

Bourbon County happens to be one of my favorite beers, its a dark  imperial stout,  at about 13.8% ABV

Expect to pay $6+ per bottle but when you factor in the ABV is like drinking 3 normal beers I can justify the cost.

here is some info on other beers released this coming Friday

  6. whoa.... looks like my owls almost got the gator....  that was holding/ pass interference in OT( the FL defensive player grabbed the Left shoulder jersey from the 7 yard line into the end zone and actually turned the FAU player), so it really should have been a win since our kicker can  actually make a point after attempt

oh well... till we meet again

  7. These are the carts from the Four Seasons next door :P

"Custom Golf Carts Tranquil offers custom Four Seasons Orlando golf carts that include a state-of-the-art GPS navigation system with two-way communication, a ball washer, and coolers stocked with bottled water."

So that means they are coming over and using the Fort's amenities.

The ones that i have seen from next door are white not green

they also have the resort name on the front

furthermore Golf courses want to have the version that can hold bags not 4 people...

  8. ill be at Ft Desoto March 28-April 1,in site 212 i think, we plan on beaching it, hitting up the aquarium and relaxing for the most part.  yes i understand the aquarium is bit of a drive from there about 45 min each way, but it makes for a good day trip while were up there.

I live in cape coral, Its about a 2 hour drive south of tampa, there are things to do here and sanibel/ captiva is great for shelling and beaching it. those are 20 min from my home.

it all depends on what your interest are

there are a ton of breweries, i take my kids with us as they enjoy cooking and that's really what they show you at a brewery

  9. The main thing is to be at the park by 7pm, for the party. We're having one chair delivered to the fort my dad to use, the kids are 2 and 4 and the wife's just said Friday might be the x-mass party at school. I don't want to rush, trust me on that. There is an option for 2 cars as well we're going and so are the parents, sister and bil in the other car. I could take the 2y/o with me and say auntie and bil, and the wife can ride up later with the 4 y/o and mom and dad.

  10. My first family trip to the fort is fast approaching, I set up my fast passes and then started to think I might be in trouble.

we will be there 12/11 for the MVMCP and that event starts at 7 pm, I understand I can get access to MK starting at 4 pm and because of that I have fast passes from 3:45- 4:45, 4:45- 5:45, and 5:45-6:45.

My oldest gets out of school at noon on Friday, I am encouraging the wife to get him earlier or just not go at all, but not winning that battle.

The plan as it sits is to hit the road at 12:10 on 12/11, its 155 miles door to fort, and the google machine says 3 hours, but I plan on 3.5 cause ya know I am towing something.

my best time not towing anything for said trip was just over 2 hours as there was speeding involved ( +10 mph on the back roads)

So I think I am gonna roll in to the fort between 3:15-3:45, I am fully aware we might miss the first fast pass, and I am ok with that

How long do you think it will take to check in at that time, figuring I can have the camper setup in 25-30 min and be on my way to MK

I have done online check in already.  My main concern on setting it up is getting the beds made, setting up chairs and out door stuff is not needed on the first night as were doing dinner in the park and then the party so we wont be back till late.

Brings me to part 2 of the question, ECV's  can they go on the boats or am i better off taking a bus?

were going to be in the full hook up loop that is closer to the bus depot, so i just may opt for that as a time saver

    Thanks in advance,

oh final question FF sign as an option for fort delivery?!?!?
